Phoenix Drop High x Reader

I saw long black hair as we ran out of the crowd. I only knew one person who had long black hair.

   ' It's either Aphmau or Aaron grew his hair out in a flash. '

I held her hand tight as we left the crowd. when we got out of the crowd we jogged and then it slowed to a walk. I could tell she felt nervous as we walked. I squeezed her hand and faced her.

   " Aph are you okay? "

   " Yeah, I'm fine. What makes you think I'm not? "

   " Well, I'm just holding your hand and I can feel the nervous nerves just by holding it in mine. "

   " I am a little bit, but don't worry about it. "

   " Aph tell me whats up to make you so nervous. "

   " I'll tell you later. Right now I just want to walk around the beach. "

   " Okay. I'll wait until you're comfortable with it. "

She nodded and we continued walking down the beach. The sand went between our toes as we walked and I enjoyed the feeling. The wind blew as we walked and it was nice having a walk through the night. I looked back at all the memories I had and to the first day I met Aphmau.

( Flashback )

 As I walked down the street I saw a girl leaving her house. She had black hair and orange eyes. As I walked closer to her I said,

   " Hi there. "

She jumped and turned around. She looked at me and she looked a little scared.

   " Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. "

   " I-It's okay. "

   " I'm Y/n. "

   " I'm Aphmau. You can just call me Aph though. "

   " Nice to meet you Aph. Heading to school?"

   " Ya. I'm a freshman and I was homeschooled all my life except for kindergarten. So this is new to me. "

   " What school are you going to?"

   " Phoenix Drop High. You?"

   " Same school. "

   " Really!?"

   " Ya, I'm going to be a freshman too. "

   " Yay! I made a friend. "

   " I actually just moved here. "

   " So it's like we are in the same boat. "

   " Ya! Exactly like that. "

   " Great! Let's get to school before we're late. "

I nodded and we started walking to school. On the way, we talked about a lot of things. I found out that she lives with her mom and her dad is off somewhere. I told her that my parents are on business trips most of the time. In no time we made it to the high school. It was huge!

   " How much time do we have before the bell rings?"

   " We have a few minutes. "

   " Okay. Wanna sit by the fountain and talk?"

( Flashback Over )

   " I remember when we first met. You were my first friend."

   " I remember. Ivy was being mean. Thanks for being my friend by the way. "

   " Thanks for being mine. "

My chest hurt a little bit as I said that. The truth is I didn't want to be friends. I wanted to be more, but I knew she didn't feel that way about me.

   ' Should I tell her so I can get it off my chest and move on? I feel like I need to. Just to get it off my chest and move on. '

   " Aph? "

   " Yes, Y/n? "

   " There's something I need to get off my chest. "

I let go of her hand and stood in front of her. I walked backwards as she walked forwards. 

   " Aphmau I've liked you for a while now. Like really like you. More than a friend. I know you don't feel the same, but I just had to get it off my chest. "

   " Who said I didn't like you that way? "

   " What? "

   " Y/n I like you to. As in I like you more than a friend. "

   " You do? "

   " I do. "

She grabbed my hands and held me closer. I hugged her and she hugged me back.

   " I can't believe it. "

   " Well, you better believe it. "

I pulled away and starred at her orange eyes. 

   " Can I do something? "

   " Sure. "

I leaned in and kissed her. She kissed me back hesitantly. It was a soft gentle kiss. I pulled away and both of our faces were red.

   " Will you be my girlfriend Aphmau? "

   " I will. "

   " Yay! "

We hugged her once more and we started walking back to the condo. With big wide smiles on our faces.
