𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑭𝑶𝑼𝑹 had a few practices with stealth 'missions' during previous training, but nothing like this. No, really. First of all, they had never done this type of stuff in civilian clothing. You could maybe count when the League attacked their summer training camp but not really. Trying to step over cracks and boulders in dress shoes and blue jeans sucked, but they managed. Second of all, they had been caught severely off guard and stuck with a team that hadn't worked together much before.
Not much to say about that though. It was all in the day of being a pro, as far as they could tell.
They kept quiet, no matter what, matching the rest of the new world that had been stored within the forcefield. Ochako led the front and Chayse the rear, all four keeping one another steady if the odd creak or chilling cry rang out into the unnaturally darkened sky. Grey wished she could see the clouds right now, what a wonderful sight they would be, but she settled on Eijiro's redhead as a substitute. His hair was nowhere close to a cloud, but they both brought her some sort of peace that she would never be able to explain.
They must have traveled a whole mile-- perhaps two-- away from the bakery before they were finally halted in their steps by Uraraka. All that was visible were her taut shoulders as she peeked around a crumbling brick corner.
Collins poked at her back with concern and attempted to lean around her (it didn't work, being a tight alleyway and all). "What is it?"
"Her," was all Uraraka muttered, with such conviction laced upon the syllables that all the way from the back Erhart wished she had been the subject matter that had rolled off of her date's tongue.
Kirishima pushed his way closer to the front in order to make sure his classmate wasn't hallucinating, the smallest of gasps emanating from his mouth. His eyes quivered at the sight but he refused to show his human weakness-- he had to be manly just as his teammates at the moment were. "Damn."
"Now what?" Ochako asked as quietly as she could. Grey couldn't ask her to speak up considering the situation so she strained her ears as much as they would allow.
"What's going on?" Chayse asked, glancing between the two who had surveyed the scene.
"She... she was shaking them down," Kirishima gulped. Grey hoped there wasn't another meaning to his words. "Asking something but we're too far to hear."
"Is there really any other plan we had besides rushing her?" The slightly taller American asked but the other foreigner interjected before she could get much farther.
"What, like you two did before? Uh, no. That didn't exactly turn out well last time."
"What other options do we have?" Kirishima asked his close friend and he cringed because he knew it was not a question that Erhart could answer.
But maybe someone else could.
"We could..." Uraraka exhaled shakily before continuing on. "We could split up, two of us going around to the other side. Kirishima and I could ambush first, for example, me using my quirk to deflect anything she had a chance to throw. You two get her from behind while she's distracted."
"Yeah," Grey hummed after a pause, "with Erhart's super speed, the force could really get the villain if she builds up momentum."
"Do you know any venomous animals?" The aforementioned turned to Collins, who nodded sharply (long story, but let's just say that dangerous spiders do not belong in her bed).
"That could kill her," Kirishima frowned.
"And?"
"Bakubro's really been rubbing on you."
"Ew."
Kirishima ignored her immaturity as she clapped a hand on Uraraka's shoulder. "This is the best we got. We'll wait for your guyses signal from the other side."
The two blondes nodded and they were off.

Their trek was not filled with conversation, only the labored breaths of the two girls as they hurdled over obstacles and weaved through alleys-- at least not until the end was in sight. both gasping for air they came to a silent agreement to slow down, waiting to release the signal until they were fully prepared for what was to come.
"I can't believe this," Chayse uttered as her heart rate slowed. "On my birthday and everything."
That caught Grey off guard, and her breathing quickly slowed at the revelation. "Really? No way!"
"Yeah, sucks, but what's new."
"No, I mean-- well, yeah it does-- but it's my birthday too," Grey stuttered. Chayse stewed in her statement, the stars aligning in her mind as she watched the other girl carefully. They knew next to nothing about one another yet here they were, facing each other in the same alleyway on the same birthday about to fight the same villain.
"That's awesome," she finally huffed, "I haven't ever met anyone with my birthday before..."
"Me neither, haha."
"Y'know, I had a friend back home... they were really into zodiac signs and all that stuff... I bet they would've had something cool to say about this."
"What, like how our destinies are intertwined?"
"I mean, probably. Something like that." The two looked at each other for a moment, lost in thoughts that were not meant for the battlefield, but they thought them anyway for curiosity would always be a weakness of man. "You can just call me Chayse, by the way. I'm not one for honorifics."
Grey smiled at the gesture. "I'm Grey, but you can also call me..." She proceeded to ramble off a few nicknames she had throughout the years, to which Chayse furrowed her eyebrows.
"That's a lot, I don't wanna choose. Can I just call you Fash?"
Grey stared at her incredulously for a moment, shocked at the fact she had offered so many names and had only received another. When it settled in she let out light and genuine laughter. "Yeah, of course. You can call me Fash."
"Well, Fash, are you ready to make Mr. Aizawa proud?"
"I think he'll be more angry than anything."
"I'll let you handle that then ."
Fash agreed with a smile. It didn't stay on her face long as she turned to the opening, glancing to the other alley across the way where she could barely make out Ochako's face through the dust. She nodded and held up a hand, a simple wave being the signal they needed to commence.
