Leafpool's Decision - What If Book 3 {DONE}

Leafpool was happy. She was with Crowfeather and didn't have the clans judgment anymore.

Starclan had told her to follow her heart and she did. Leafpool and Crowfeather were running until they saw Midnight.

"Badgers are attacking the clans. Go back an help" Midnight told them.

Leafpool thought about going back but then again, Thunderclan had strong warriors and they had Cinderpelt. Also, Crowfeather didn't look like he wanted to go back.

"Thunderclan has strong warriors and they have Cinderpelt. They won't need me," Leafpool answered firmly, "besides, Starclan told me to follow my heart."

"Very well," answered Midnight solemnly. 

The talk with Midnight made Leafpool worry a bit about her sister but she thought her sister could manage fine. Besides, someone will probably run to call for help. Leafpool wasn't needed.

After walking for a long time, they found a nice spot. There were a long-abandoned fox den and a hollowed-out tree. You couldn't tell what type of tree it was because it was covered in vines and struck by lightning at least once. The branches were very dense that you could sleep in them and there was plenty of moss to use. Leafpool also found tons of herbs, even a patch of catmint! "I should bring this back to camp!" she thought. Then she remembered that she ran away with Crowfeather. "Whatever. we still have plenty of catmint back at home."

"Come on. It looks like there is a lot of prey nearby. Maybe we can go hunting? I'm starving!" Crowfeather exclaimed. Then Leafpool realized that she was also starving.

"Let's go hunting!" Leafpool answered.

The hunt was successful, mainly because the prey here didn't know the danger of cats. They caught a fat rabbit and a squirrel. Leafpool took the squirrel and quickly gobbled it up. She didn't know how hungry she was until she realized that she ate the whole thing.

"Don't worry," chuckled Crowfeather, "there isn't a clan to feed here."

Crowfeather dug into the fat rabbit.

"It's really good. Want some?" he asked with his mouth full.

"I'm full already. Thanks. You should eat it."Leafpool answered.

After they ate all of the prey Leafpool asked, "Fox den or hollow tree?"

"Perhaps the hollow tree?" answered Crowfeather.

The two went into the fox den and fell asleep
