Charles' point of view

It has now been two weeks since we heard about it and still it hasn't come. I decided I needed to call the team together to talk about the progression.

Peter was here first.

When everyone had arrived I asked first about how it was going with Logan and (y/n). "She's sobering up pretty good, I think she'll need three more days max" Logan said proudly. "We're tired from training our asses off everyday and not knowing when it comes" Jean said, "she's right" Scott said, everyone started looking at me with fury in their eyes "calm down, i don't know when it's about to come but I do know that it's about to come and we need to be prepared, it's our world we're taking at risk" I said hoping they would calm down a bit, they all left the room annoyed.

Your point of view

I wasn't throwing up anymore and I didn't crave for alcohol anymore, but I don't want to tell Logan about this because he won't be here with me if I'm sober and I don't want to lose him, but I will tell him because  I don't lie, well except for that I like him but that's something different, friends don't lie.

Logan's point of view

I decided that I needed to tell (y/n) how I feel about her and what's about to happen because I can't leave her in the dark about something this big even if Charles says that she can't know.

When I walked in the room I saw her sitting on her bed like always in I sat down next to her. "I need to tell you something" we said in unison. "You first" we said in unison again, she giggled and blushed, oh how does she look so cute? "Ladies first" I said again and she started to talk "well it's not really that interesting anyways but I think I'm completely sober" she said happy "that's great" I said "now you go" she looked at me waiting for what I had to say, I was nervous, but not about it I was nervous about telling her how I feel about her, but I want her to know before it comes so I started talking "okay before I begin I want to get something of off my chest" I said looking down at the ground and she just hummed "well uh, you know last time when I said that jeans eyes were pretty?" I asked still looking at the ground "well actually I was thinking about your eyes but I was afraid to tell you that because I like you and not just as a friend" I said nervous about what she was going to answer, I couldn't bare looking at the ground anymore and I wanted to see her pretty face so I looked at her, she looked happy "I like you too" she said, lord I couldn't be any happier in my life if there wasn't something else bothering me and I needed to tell her, but first i wanted to kiss her, no, not wanted I needed to kiss her and I was going to do it.

I leaned in getting closer to her beautiful face and my hand landed on her cheek feeling her soft skin, I rested my forehead against hers and we stayed like this for a moment "well how long are you gonna keep me waiting" (y/n) eventually said, I laughed and started kissing her, our lips synced together perfectly and i swear we both felt fireworks inside, I wanted to stay like this forever, but I needed to tell her about it so I pulled away.

"Why did you pull away?" She said sounding said "I need to tell you something else as well" she looked at me full of curiosity, so I started telling her everything about it and about her being our only chance, how the world might go down and that that's why I didn't want to wait to tell her about how I feel. She looked shocked and sad "so I might lose you too?" She asked looking at me with those beautiful eyes "you will never lose me" i said holding her soft hand, she leaned her head against my shoulder and said "I think I know how we can win"
