Emotional Support [Complete]

The first few shots were pretty tame and done nicely. They had their arms around each other in one, they posed back to back, arms crossed, in another, and in one of Adrien's favorite's, Marinette was trying to hit him, but he held her away by the head, yawning. After Vincent gave the okay, Adrien stopped holding her head and she came in to hug him as the two laughed in their embrace.

But then, the meddlesome photographer decided he wanted to play match maker. He grinned, tapping his index finger against his chin.

"Now," he had an incredulous gleam in his eyes, "Adrien, sit on the edge of the fountain." —Adrien did so— "Yes, now, Marinette sit on his lap and put your arms around his neck."

The two teens looked slightly shocked. "W-What?!"

Now, Adrien was really glad Marinette was co-modeling with him. He wouldn't want to be posing so intimately with any other girl— Well, except for maybe Ladybug. He just hoped that Marinette wouldn't be too uncomfortable doing so, or anything else Vincent might have planned.

"Marinette?" Adrien patted his lap before holding his arms out for her.

"U-Um, okay..." Marinette sat on Adrien's lap, her arms around his neck as he cradled her. "Like this?"

"Perfect. Stare into each other's eyes!" Vincent told them, already taking photos. "This is Paris! You're in love! Show me the love!"

Adrien's thumb began to caress the small of Marinette's back as a way to comfort her. Marinette appreciated the gesture, but it only made her blush further. They stared deeply into each other's eyes, each swearing to themselves that they've seen eyes like those before.

"Wonderful! Wonderful!" Vincent exclaimed. "Marinette, kiss him on the cheek."

Right when they were getting comfortable too!

"It's okay, Marinette." Adrien chuckled. "I mean you have done it before."

It was true. Marinette had kissed his cheek before at the picnic after defeating Scarlet Moth and his army of akumatized victims. But it was one of the hardest things she'd ever done. Now, he's asking her to kiss him. Her heart could stop beating at any moment.

Adrien leaned his cheek to her, tapping it with his finger. He didn't mind Marinette kissing him, he was French after all. But aside from French greetings, which he sadly never received from her, he loved every action of affection she could possibly give him. He remembered the last time she'd kissed him on Hero's Day. He hadn't expected it, but he thought it was so sweet. If she would, he'd love for her to do it again.

And she did. Adrien smiled helplessly as her soft lips pecked his cheek and lingered long enough for Vincent to take a few photos. Adrien almost followed her lips as she pulled away.
