Unstoppable [Matt Holt x Reader]

"Matt! Matt! Did you get the letter?" I yelled running up to my best friend in the hall the morning I got my letter from the Garrison.

"Yeah? You?" Matt asked me as we were both now at his locker.

"Yes. Did you open yours yet?" I asked him.

"Of course not. I was waiting for you." he told me.

"On the count of 3, we open it together." he nodded. "1...2...3..."

And the two of us ripped open the envelope to see if we got in or not. My heart lifted eith joy when I saw Accepted. And as a fighter pilot. I looked up at Matt to see him smiling softly to himself. Which meant only good news. He got in too.

"I got in." He said.

"So did I." I told him. "We can go together. Just like we wanted." And with that I hugged him.

In the middle of the hallway with other people staring at us. But I didn't care. All I cared about was that I still had my best friend with me... for now.

Space was cool. Not in the traditional sense of "like that's so koool!" but in the sense that it was relaxing. On that planet, on the ground waiting and planning for my next move, it was more stressful than anything. But now? Now, I'm sitting on the floor of the green lion with Matt beside me and the lion on auto pilot as Katie spoke to me.

She told me the story of how she became the paladin of this magnificent creature. And her story was so rich in detail and so vivid that you could feel like you saw it straight from her eyes. Matt didn't seem phased at all which meant that she had told him this story countless times before. Which meant that she told this story multiple times before. But now... now it was my turn to explain things.

"Look, guys. I'm not the same [Y/N] you knew on Earth. Now, I'm a-"

"Vigilante criminal that fights the Coalition and the Galra?" Katie interjected.

"I'm not a vigilante. And I don't fight the Coalition. I just believe that I can take on a fleet of Galra warships." I explained.

"Uh... how?" Matt questioned still nitpicking at everything I do.

"I have magic." I told them bluntly.

"Uh... how?" Katie said, displaying the quality that the two siblings shared.

"You know how I'm an orphan that doesn't know where or who I come from?"

Matt nodded. "I should. You remind me like every three seconds."

"Well... not anymore. In fact, I am a magical princess from another dimension." I told them.

"Um..." the two siblings ssid stsring at me waiting for me to continue.

"My parents, Queen Moon and King River, sent me away to this world to protect me and my incredible magical potential the Magical High Commission saw in me from Toffee, an seemingly immortal sociopath. When you went missing a couple years ago, I tried to find where you've gone, and it led me to this small town in California called Echo Creek.

"There I ran into my sister, Star Butterfly. And my cheeks started to glow. Started to glow in the shape of candles. And she along with her mother, explained everything to me. I was the daughter that could use wandless magic to do anything I set my mind too. While reading the spellbook first. From there, I moved into Mewnie, where I'm from.

"And my mom told me her allies needed their help, and they were sending me to a planet called Etheria. There... there I became apart of a rebellion. Our goal is to eradicate the horde from the planet. And we have a secret wespon, our little rebllion. We have She-Ra, and she's destined to save us all. The First Ones tells us this." I explained to them.

"Hold up. Hold up. Hold up." Katie said jazzing her hands in the air to stop me. "You're a princess? You have a sister? And you've been on the planet Etheria for how long?"

"One year. I got there about the same time you disappeared, Pidgeon." I told her.

"I don't care what you've been doing. As long as you weren't a prisoner." Matt told me.

"You're lucky most people find my presence annoying." I told him.
