"Keith, why are we going to this classroom?" Asked the fair haired student next to him. Keith turned to him, his dark eyes looking over his friend uncaringly. "Because, Maxy, I want to talk to you about something, and no one can listen in on this."
The shorter teenager scowled at his taller, dark haired counterpart. "Stop calling me Maxy!"
"I'll do it once you cut your damn hair. You look like a transvestite." Keith commented with the smallest smirk on his face as he lead his friend down the halls of the school. Max and him began to banter like usual, while Keith kept an eye out on the numbers on the classrooms. The doors were simple, but he needed to find the one without a window and made of barely cleaned wood.
"... and why are you talking about my hair when your's looks like a clump of wet grass!" Max finished his berating rant as Keith stopped at the door. "Anyway, what did you want to say to me?" He said as turned to the door, his long hair swishing along his face. "We'll talk inside. C'mon, ladies first." Keith said with the most condescending smile he could muster as he opened the door for Max. He could see Max's eye twitch as he walked into the door. For some reason, Max always got silently angry whenever Max called him a lady or the like. As soon as Max entered the room, he started to talk when a blinding light filled the room.
Still standing outside, Keith could only look in, as he saw two figures begin to fade in the light. Max turned to him, and reached out his hand as he began to call his name. "Kei-!"
He had found himself in an empty room, hand grasping the space Max's hand used to be. Then, he slowly pulled his hand back as he stared at it. "Why did I reach out for him...?" He muttered in the empty classroom as he folded his hand over the other. He questioned his actions severely. He knew Max was going to be taken from this world, to save both his world, and the one Max would be at currently. He's known this would happen for the past 2 months. So why did he reach out for him, when there wasn't even a slight chance Max could stay, or that he'd go where Max went.
Keith stared down at his tanned hands, and notices a few glittering sparks on the hand he'd reached out with. He held out his hand, and tried to chuckle. "I wonder if this might be some weird residue from something weird. Like unicorn crap." He had an easier time chuckling at the thought of Max landing near a pile of unicorn feces. Or on it, if he was as unlucky as knew he Max was.
"Hope this thing didn't have any weird status eff-!" Keith couldn't finish his sentence as a digital screen flew up before his eyes. It gave him a giant start, and he could barely keep himself from letting out a sound. His eyes dashed across the screen, looking at the information.Keith

A blinding light filled his vision, as screams of pain appeared and were silenced in the same second. Then, a pain unlike any other consumed his flesh, until there was nothing.
Keith opened his eyes and sat upright. He was lying on a bed, surrounded in white curtains. He was definitely in the Nurse's Office. He put his hand to his head and sighed. He definitely remembered what happened, and he wasn't excited at all. He always hated when his prophecies take away the information he really wanted. He quickly slide off the bed, and walked to the exit when a group of people suddenly called at him.
"Stop right there!"
"Hold on."Keith turned to the 2 people who had been sitting in the chairs to the side of the room. There was a blonde guy and a dark-haired Asian girl with glasses. "Wow, I kind of expected the nurse to be here." Keith said dryly, looking around the room. "Anyway, what is it?"
The blondie walked over to him and stood right in front of him, clearly trying to intimidate Keith. "What the hell happened to Sarah?"
"Who?" He definitely didn't know a Sarah.
"You know damn well who she is. She's her sister, and my girlfriend." He pointed a thumb back at the glasses wearing girl, who was obviously the most calm out of the lot of them. Keith looked at the man. "Still doesn't clarify. Why do you think I have anything to do with Sarah?"
"Because you were passed out in the room Sarah had told us to meet her in!" The man spat at him. Keith's mind flashed back to the second figure in the room with Max. Oh, that was unlucky.
"Oh, so that's who that was. Sorry man, she's long gone."
The man's expression contorted, and suddenly Keith was hoisted into the air by his shoulders. The man was a lot stronger than he looked. His watery eyes seemed to pulsate like a river. His nails dug into Keith's shoulders. "What the hell did you do to her?!"
Keith's gaze flickered around the room, and landed onto the sister. "Hey, I can't really explain what happened if he doesn't let go." The woman nodded, and walked over to the angry boyfriend. She put a calm hand on his shoulder, and Keith was slowly put onto the ground.
"Thank you. She's been taken, along with my friend." Keith said, rubbing his shoulders. He guessed that must've been 5 damage. The two others whirled back at him. "Then aren't we going to get help?!" Damn, this guy was super overzealous when it came to Sarah.
"Because she's been taken to a place no one can follow." The sentenced made him stop in his extremely fast tracks. "...What?"
"She's probably a part of Max's destiny." Keith said, crossing his arms.
"...Who?"
"Alright, let me explain this slowly so we're all caught up. Listen close, and don't interrupt please." Keith said, and the others nodded.
"Max has a destiny to be taken to another world. I sent him off today. Sarah was probably the other person in that room. So, she was probably taken along with Max." Keith was cut down by the stares of his peers. Then, he thought for a second. "Say 'status'."
The screen appeared before his eyes once more, but he mentally dismissed it, and it fizzed out of existence.
"... why status?" The two of them said, oddly synchronized. Then they both jumped back at the things hovering before their eyes. ".....I believe you now." Glasses Girl said simply. Zealous Blondie stared at what Keith assumed was the screen, with his mouth hanging open.
"Well, thanks for that. The magic that sent our friends there probably left some traces here. We probably picked some of it up since we were in the room close to when it happened." Keith explained dispassionately. "Oh, and don't worry, Max and Sarah will come back. Eventually." Keith said, not appreciating how much he liked hearing those words spoken aloud.
"Uhh...." Zealous Blondie said, blinking slowly. "You can dismiss the screen mentally. Don't talk about this to anyone, and try not to go insane with this knowledge, ok?" Keith said as he walked to the exit from the nurse's room.
"Where are you going, stranger?" Glasses Girl asked him. Keith turned back to her. "My name is Keith, and I'm going to go to class. Just because I got some crazy powers doesn't mean my mother won't damn me to the pits of hell if I skip class." He said, then walked back to his classroom.

"Extended Status..." Keith whispered during the middle of his last period. It was math, his best subject, and it was just a catch-up day for all the late work that piled up during the winter. He'd done it on time, so he was allowed to read his book, which he used as his cover for looking at his Game Screen. His eyes flickered across the screen with unbound interest at what he was looking at.
