Hades {Book 1}

Sephony watches as Pain and Misery run around their room going from their closet to the mirror on the other side of the room in a rushed fashion.

"Ugh, why didn't we just put the stupid mirror in the closet!" Pain groans out as she walks back out of the closet with flushed cheeks.

"Because someone said it would make the closet to crowded!" Misery shouts as he peeks his head out the doorway of the closet.

"Oh shut it!" Pain growls out as she plops down on her bed. Sephony, still in the doorway of their room freezes in surprise.

"Uh is it a good time to tell you that it's time to go?" Sephony asks quietly and the two stop in their place.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me! Move you muffin!" Misery shouts as he pushes Pain off the bed and towards the closet.

"Pick the first thing you see, move it move it, we don't have all day!" He says as he changes his shirt right in front of the mirror and flattens it out.

"Okay I'm ready." He states as Pain comes out of the closet in a t-shirt and jeans.

"You didn't even change your pants!" Pain groans out as she rubs her temples.

"Oh gods help me get through today, or so help me to the gods I will murder him." She mutters to herself as she walks towards Sephony will an irritated look.

"You can't kill me, Hades would just bring me back." Misery calls out as Pain and Sephony walk out the room and into the hall, Misery following behind them now.

"Yeah, but you'd still feel the pain." Pain smirks at her little joke.

(Get it feel the pain and her name is pain, yeah I'll leave)

"Oh don't even." Misery says with a dead tone and Pain just laughs. Sephony stops at the front door and looks to Pain and Misery.

"Hades is kind of in a silent state of mind, I don't know if he does this normally but Titan said it's just his way of thinking about things, so all I know is to just not anger him, well not a lot." She says after she sees their expressions.

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it, he does this a lot, you just have to bring him out of it because he likes to think things over a lot." Pain says as she barges past Sephony and into the closed door and opens it. Misery rolls his eyes and takes Sephony's hand.

"Let's go, before she annoys Hades to death." Misery says with a laugh as he tugs Sephony along with him. They go into the open carriage and sit down, Sephony and Hades on one side and Pain, Misery, and Titan on the other. Sephony looks to Hades with a frown as he looks out the window.

"What are you thinking about?" She asks him in a whisper after the carriage started to drive off, and he leans his head in her direction a bit.

"I'm just trying to figure out why the rouge would be caught at the same time as Eyra was, I think their connected but I don't know how." Hades explains and Sephony furrows her eyebrows.

"I have no idea, but if they are we'll find out sooner or later. Besides, maybe the rouge will tell us something when we interrogate him." Sephony suggests with a shrug and Hades sighs.

"Maybe." He says as he looks out the window again, the carriage going into silence once again. Sephony sighs as she looks at Hades and his dazed form. He was going to beat himself up over it until he found out some answers, and Sephony was going to get them for him, no matter what it took.

The man slouches in the chair that he's bound to with a groan, they had left him alone in his silence and that was the one thing that he hated the most. He had struggled with his restraints for quite a bit before he finally gave up. He had to of been trying for hours to tug loose of the silver chains but to no hope. He knew that the Queen was coming, and he knew that she would get answers out of him, he just tried to delay the inevitable. He groaned out as he shifted in the chair and the silver chains rubbed up onto more bare parts of his skin. His mind shifted towards his mate at the time with a small smile. She gave him hope and strength to hang on longer, god he couldn't help but daydream about her smooth silky hair and her gorgeous eyes that twinkle whenever she laughed at a lame joke he made. When all of this blew over he would finally introduce her to his parents for once and for all. Just a few months ago he had a normal werewolf life and then his mate came strolling in and brought crashing walls down on his perfect life. He couldn't not deny her, she was his weakness, so he went ahead and agreed to her plan. To pretend to be another man's mate, for the sake of more power and insight of things from another world.

She had this master plan, that she would use Aphrodite as a distraction to sneak into the Underworld, that she would ask the witches that lived in that realm for help to fake being someones mate, it was after all her fate, she would use this power to get information on a powerful girl that would destroy her, and she would destroy her first. What she didn't plan was getting caught, and getting caught by said girl. What she didn't plan, was her fake mate to throw her away like a used napkin. What she didn't expect was for her actual mate to be captured and tortured by the one that would destroy her. What she didn't expect was for her mate to tell that girl everything he knew, in hope of getting his perfect life back. What he didn't expect however, was the moment that Sephony walked in, he could smell his mate. And it wasn't Eyra, no it was better.
