I opened my eyes slowly, and found myself in my treehouse in the sky. It was the first place i thought of. Safe, secret and all mine. Where I wouldn't hurt anyone.
I grabbed a paper stand and placed my recipes on them, before snapping my fingers and causing loud, booming music to play out of nowhere. Twinkle, who had been sleeping peacefully on her side, leaped up with a yowl of shock and scrambled away, shooting me a dirty look.
"Sorry!" I yelled over the music.
Head bopping to the beat, I added ingredient after ingredient into the new pot. I didn't even have to look at the recipes, my fingers just automatically knew what to add and when to stir.
I grabbed 2 chopsticks and drummed on the side of the pot, imitating the dumping solo going on in the air around me. Suddenly, the mixture I was creating gave a puff of blue smoke, and the music paused. Frowning, I snapped my fingers for it to resume, but nothing happened.
The birds outside had also stopped chirping, and Twinkle's gentle snores were gone, too. The mixture in the pot was a blue, slightly dense, liquid. It looked like I'd plucked a piece of sky. I'd never, in my whole life, seen this mixture before. It felt very important, like it could destroy the universe if it fell into the wrong hands.
I quickly went over everything I'd added: sunlily seeds, physo, a drop of hydroflame, and 3 sundew leaves. Come to think of it, I'd never mixed sundew leaves with sunlily seeds before, because of how much sun powder they would cause together.
No, it can't be... can it?
I grabbed my staff leaning on the wall and waved it, and, as suddenly as everything had stopped, everything came back. The loud music, the birds chirping outside, and Twinkle's snores.
No. Way.
I waved my staff over the mixture and everything stopped. I waved my staff and everything resumed. "Oh my god!" I scrammed to particularly no one.
This potion can stop time.
I can fix my mess.

I glanced out the window at the moon and sighed. Papers lay scattered everywhere on the floor with open books, laying beside them. An ink pot lay on a book with a quill, dipped in ink so many times the ends stained.
Twinkle was laying on my bed, purring and grooming herself. I sat at the bedside table in the middle of the paper tornado. My eyes were heavy like my heart.
I yawned and got up, stretching. Hours of research and I could hardly find anything about reversing freezing effects. All the information had the same info: "Once it starts, it is rare for it to stop."
How do I stop?
I stepped out of my hut and sat down outside in the clouds. Twinkle pushed open the front door fluttered into my lap. I stroked her fur and stared down at the castle. It lay quiet and still.
The ice had not reached the outside yet, since all the door and windows were closed, but you could see blue started to creep out.
I assumed Gold had managed to evacuate everyone into the village, and if my memory charm worked, they would have no clue where I was. Probably assuming that I was frozen in the castle. But hopefully, Gold and Alec made it out of the castle and were safe along with everyone else. A silent tear rolled down my cheek and landed on Twinkle's wing. She let our a little meow then licked my hand. I smiled.
Twinkle got up and pondered back into the house, and I stayed outside a little longer. The soft breeze pulled my hair up and to the left as I tucked a stray hair behind my ear. The village was full of light, and as I continued to look down, I managed to spot guards swarming around the village. I could barely see Gold, dress swishing around her ankles, walking around interacting with everyone. It was hard to see, so I got up and walked around the house.
A telescope stood there, bathing in the moonlight. I looked into it, and watched as Gold paces around. Her eyebrows were scrunched together and she had a look between sadness and horror.
I can never go back down there...
