chases pov:

tomorrow is the day of the lights out tour. there is a new kid, noen.. i think thats his name. iv'e seen him on tiktok before and he seems like a cool guy. we're meeting him once we're off the bus. kevin pointed out noen. noen was waiting nervously at the bus stop. it was a shame that caleb finn couldn't join us, but on the inside i was a little relieved because it would be like an adult taking control. me, anthony, jaden, payton, griffen, cynthia; my girlfriend & kevin walked off the bus and walked over to meet noen. this was our first bus and we needed to catch another to get to the tour. we were staying in a hotel near by. i walked with cynthia to greet noen. the boys followed behind us, standing in groups of twos and threes.

"hey! you must be noen, im chase and this is my girlfriend cynthia!" i said first.

"oh, hey, yeah im noen. nice to meet you" noen said shyly.

cynthia seemed to be distracted talking with fans and half interracting with her phone, so i sat with noen, whilst we waited for the bus. 

"are you excited for the tour?" i said to break the silence.

"yeah, mostly. im kinda nervous about meeting everyone and im scared i'll muck up." he replied.

"it's okay. you can stay with me. and everyone makes mistakes, it's human. iv'e messed up once and everythings fine. it's your fans after all. they've come to see you!" 

"thanks chase."

our bus arrived, cynthia gestered me to sit with her but i declined and sat with noen.

noen and i laughed and talked the whole half an hour drive to our hotel. the boys put the hotel numbers in a hat and drawed out our room partners. i have 66. i asked most of the boys and cynthia, if they had my number and they didn't have it. 

"noen, what's your number?" i asked.

"66" he replied.

"okay great! so do i, come on roomie! i said cringingly.

ever since i met noen, i've has a feeling around him. he sends shivers down my spine when he touches me and he makes me feel something nobody makes me feel. even though i met noen a couple hours back. i knew we would be close friends.

the manager welcomed us to our rooms and noen sat on the nearest bed. it was just us two. we could her the other boys in their rooms. we turned the tv on and switched to an unfamiliar family movie. 

noen and i set up some beanbags and ordered some food. it was dark outside and we had a massive mansion view of the lit up city of boston. we sat close, our forearms touching. noen fell asleep and by the time the movie ended it was past midnight so i turned the tv off.

i picked up noen and put him in his bed and pulled his sheets over him. i put everything away and packed up.
