i had just arrived at nan and pops. i spotted nan over the gate, i opened it and walked towards her, dragging my suitcase. she noticed the sound of my wheel on the concrete path.
"noennnn!!" nan dragged out my name, excitedly.
"hey nan!!" i ran towards her for a hug.
she squeazed me tight.
"where's pops?" i asked, after letting go.
"he's in the backyard i think, better check." she said with a big smile on her face.
she lead me through the backgate, it creaked open and pops was pulling the plants off the shed wall, getting ready for paint. he had sweat all down his forehead and on his neck. he squinted and looked up, the sun was in his eyes and he shaded them with his hand.
"noen! hello!" he grinned. "come in, come in, you know the story, help yourself to the food. make yourself at home!"
