Victoria sat at the table drinking a cup of coffee, while Dalton made the two something to eat, smiling while she thought about what she, and Dalton had just shared. It felt good to finally make love to someone who took pride in making the other happy, before satisfying their own needs. She enjoyed every bit of him, and how he was able to satisfy her, and was feeling hungry for more. She looked over his way, and wondered why he was the way he was with her at work, was it his way of trying to get her attention, or was it his way of wanting to get to know her, and just liked messing with her.
He looked over at her, and smiled seeing a smile on her face. Since he took over the clinic, not once did he ever see a smile come across her face, and thought she had a beautiful smile. He walked over to her, and curled his finger under her chin, lifting her head. "You should smile like that more often, it's a good look on you, and you do have one beautiful smile." he says, leaning down, and kissing her.
"Thanks." she said quietly, when he released his grip from her chin.
"Being you're here, and there's nobody around to interrupt us, I was thinking maybe we can talk about what you're going through with your ex, maybe I can help. It also would be nice to know why you've looked so gloomy since I took over the clinic, and why you've hated me from the start." he smirked.
She sighed, and somewhat smiled "OK... just for the record. I don't hate you, I just despised you." she giggled a little, reaching out to touch him. "I'm kidding, I don't despise you, I just thought you were an asshole, one who only cared about himself, and wanted to be that prick of a boss that likes controlling their employees."
"Maybe you know this, maybe you don't... and I can see the previous owners didn't care, and maybe never explained this to you, but you do know the more files you get billed out, the more money you make. Most places have quotas you need to make, and I was just encouraging you to get them done so you could make money... besides the fact I was only messing with you, I saw how worked up you would get, and decided to have some fun with you." he winked.
He walked back over to the stove, got their plates ready, and walked over to the table. The moment he set a plate in front of her, she heard her phone ringing in the other room, and looked at him, excusing herself.
She went in the other room, saw it was Tiara, and answered the phone. She sat on the bed talking quietly to her, and looked over at the nightstand to see the time. "Give me a couple hours, I have to find something to wear." she says quietly.
Are you home right now? Tiara asked, worried she was around a nutjob, and a loose cannon that could blow up at any second.
"No, I'm not..." she says, tightening her lips back, waiting for her to ask where she was, and she did. "I'll call you when I'm done getting ready. Don't worry, I'm safe." she tells her, not wanting to tell her exactly where she was.
She hung up with Tiara, and headed back over to the table. Sitting down, she looked at the plate he made her, and twisted her lips. "Grilled cheese?"
He stopped eating his sandwich, and looked at her. "Sorry, I don't have much food around here, do you not like grilled cheese?" he asked with his mouth full of food, and trying not to spit anything out while speaking.
"I do, but it doesn't like me... I'm lactose intolerant." she says, sighing.
"I'm sorry..." hmm... "I can find something else to make." he says, standing up.
She reached over, stopping him from trying to find her something else to eat. "It's alright, I don't need you to make me anything else. I'll eat it."
He shook his head, knowing it wasn't a good idea. "I don't want you getting sick, I know what it does when you eat something you shouldn't, and I know how painful the symptoms can be."
