Ughhhh I'm sorry. I really don't update as much as i should, that's totally on me... Loss of inspiration i suppose.
Ok... If y'all can forgive my inconveniences, here is another chapter born completely out of death
WARNING! THIS CHAPTER CAN GET A BIT HARSH TO READ, AS THERE IS TROUBLE WITH MEMORY ISSUES
This chapter is also very short, as it is a filler for things yet to come
(Y/N)'s pov
I was walking outside, I was trying to muster up the courage to say something...
Should i get on my knees and beg for forgiveness? No, that's pathetic.
Pretend it never happened? No, that's unfair.
Die? No, that's...
Ugh! This is so difficult! Maybe i should go back home. My parents must be worried sick! Or they got a new kid.
That seems more reasonable. I went waking through the town to clear my mind, maybe it'd fix something? I was lost in thought, walking without thinking of my surroundings.
Then, I walked into a loud area. I was snapped back to my thoughts. Oh no... I'm in a construction area! How did i walk into this?
Uh, damn it! I'm so stupid!
I should get out of here!
I ran, trying to move away from the calamity. How far did i walk in? The sound of hammers clanging and the rattling of tools all seemed to fade off...
As a loud rumbling came closer.
Closer.
And closer still.
I could recognize it as the sound of a machine, probably carrying something heavy. Then, a crashing sound came.
Only seconds after did i realize it was the sound of my own skull.
(This blackout is brought to you by a very tired, uneasy author with no place in society)
(Random construction worker's pov)
I had just started layering the brick on a building i was working on. I was one of the only people in my area, as the others were working on the other side.
I had finished layering more mortar, when suddenly came a blood-curdling scream from behind me.
I turned, expecting to see one of my co-workers having fallen off a truck... Again. But instead, I see a simple girl knocked to the ground.
Above her hung a concrete pillar being held by a large machine.
Of course! Again?
Another dumb kid who didn't see the "hard hat only area" sign! I ran up to her, hoping the damage wasn't too bad. She had been knocked in the head, and blood was trailing into the dirt.
I called over some of my co-workers, and the ambulance was called. She should be ok, the damage didn't look too bad!
However... By the ambulance stood a tall man I almost recognised...
He- he looks like a man I've seen by the casino. He her boyfriend or something? Eh I don't care.
(King Dice's pov)
I nervously waited...
It's strange to think that this is the second time I've had to wait by her in the hospital.
The doctor said it shouldn't be too bad, and that she'll probably be ok, maybe just a bit of a concussion. Nothing harsh.
Suddenly, she started breathing harder, and woke up slowly and drowsily.
"Oh! (Y/N)! Are you ok?"
She looked confused, and then terrified
"Wh-o... W-"
She was struggling with her words... She took a couple minutes re-trying to make a sentence when finally she could make it out.
"Wh-o aree y...ou?"
