Fate?

Kaname's PoV

Sitting in Night Class I can sense her eyes on me from outside the window. She turns to leave and I turn to the window just in time to watch Yuki jump to the ground. How she drives my heart mad with frenzy. I have never met anyone quite like her before. That day I rescued her when she was 5 years old I will never forget. That day our bond was created. I know that no other girl could ever take her place in my heart...

At least that is what I thought at the time...

Looking out the window I see rain hit the glass. The storm has picked up immensely. Sighing I sit in the corner of the class lost in my own thoughts. I feel a light breeze hit me as the window beside me is opened the tiniest crack. The cool wind hits my face when all of a sudden I am hit by the most mouthwatering scent ever. I close my eyes as my hands grab the arms of the chair and my nails dig into them.

"Who is that...." Takuma asks as he walks over to gaze out the window. He must sense my desire as he looks to me. "Lord Kaname?"

I can hear the rest of the night class whispering about this intoxicating scent.

I open my eyes and I feel this burning desire flow through me. I turn to look out the window and in the reflection I see my glowing red eyes. I re close my eyes and stand up. Opening my eyes again they return to their deep crimson. Straightening my clothes I go to leave the classroom.

"Lord Kaname?" Ruka calls to me but I ignore her.

"No one is to leave this room tonight..." I order in a deep voice. "Except for returning to the moon dorm." Knowing they can not refuse my order I walk from the class and once in the hallway I lean against the wall.

I open my eyes and stare out into the stormy grounds In the reflection my eyes shine red again. "Who are you....." I whisper as I regain control of my desires and go in search of our newest guest.

I laughed as Zero found me outside of the girls door that first night. I could tell the desire to devour the poor creature is too much for him to handle. Every night that week I would go to the Headmasters house in hopes of seeing her...I need to see what she looks like. I need to feel the skin of this human girl who haunts my mind. However...every night Zero was there pointing that bloody vampire hunter gun at me. Yes it would not kill me like a regular Vampire. But it would weaken me greatly if hit by enough bullets that he could kill me.

"Damn that Zero!" I slam my fist down onto the desk in my dorm room. Yet another night he has stopped me from meeting her. "If he stops me tomorrow....." The mirror in my room cracks from my anger.

"Does anyone know who this mysterious new girl is yet?" Hanabusa asks.

"No..." Akatsuki speaks up. "No one has seen her..."

"She truly does smell delicious...." Senri says from the couch.

"Senri...time to feed..."Rima sighs and tosses him some blood tablets.

"Thanks..." He says as he eats them.

"Time to head to class..." I speak up and all eyes fall on me. For some reason hearing them just talk about this mystery girl drives me insane.

Exiting the moon dorm as always we are swarmed by day class girls. "So annoying..." I sigh as I plaster on a charming smile. I spot Yuki pushing her way through a crowd that the night class guys has formed. What are they doing? I think as I go to make my way over when I am hit by her scent. I can also smell Yuki but this girl overpowers Yuki's scent in an instant.

"Get to class...." I can hear Zero growl out.

"We only wish to greet Cross Academy's newest student..." Takuma speaks gently. "That is all."
