I collapse to the floor of my room as I watch Kaname leave. To save Zero I have to give myself to Kaname. But if I do that he will never let me even see Zero again. But if I dont......

"Samantha...." I feel arms wrap around my body. I raise my gaze and I see lavender eyes. "Whats wrong...."

"I......" I bite my lower lip. I can't tell him....I know what he would say. He would tell me to let him die so I wouldn't have to be Kaname's.

"Come...." Zero picks me up and lays me on my bed. "Do you wish me to stay?"

"Yes...." I whisper as he lays down beside me. "How was patrolling."

"Annoying..."

"Do you need to feed?" I ask in a quiet whisper.

"No...." Is all he says as I lay my head on his chest. "I am fine...." I soon drift off to sleep.

"Anne?" I whisper quietly. "Anne where are you?" I call for my sister. "Mom? Dad?" as I walk towards the main living room I hear a noise. My body freezes in fear. I start to tremble and shake as I look around for something...anything. My eyes landing on a metal poking stick for the fire. I pick it up and hold it tightly in my hands. As I get closer to the living room the noise gets louder and it sounds like something drinking.

A loud clash of thunder rings out causing me to jump in fear and drop the metal poking stick causing a loud clashing noise on the floor.

"Who do we have here?" a quiet voice whispers out from the darkness. "You smell sweet my darling...you smell like dessert." A figure jumps out at me with red glowing eyes.

I scream in fear and panic as I see blood dripping down his chin and neck from his mouth. I quickly pick up the fire poking stick and hold it out in front of me.

My nightmare fills my dreams when suddenly it all feels to real.

I feel a sharp pain in my neck. My body starts to shake as the drinking sound gets louder and louder. My eyes slowly open to find my body behind held in Zero's strong arms as he is sitting up.

"Zero....." I whisper realizing what he is doing. "Zero stop!" I try to push him off but he is too strong. He has weakened my body by drinking too much of my blood. "Zero......please....."

I hear my door burst open. Slowly Zero removes his fangs and I see his eyes still shine red. "I never thought I would see the day I would have to use my weapon on you Zero...." That voice sounds familiar. "Let the girl go....."

"No...." His grip on me tightens. "She chose me...she is mine."

"Zero you'er not yourself....You obviously care for her deeply....If you truly care about Miss Hirose then you wouldn't be doing this....Zero come back to yourself...."

Zero looks down to me and I see the red in his eyes fade as fear takes over his lavender eyes. "Samantha!" He lays me down gently. "What have I done.....I didn't mean too....I was watching you sleep....and I lost control."

"Zero...." I whisper weakly.

"Zero." The voice walks over and I see it is Mr Yagari. "Your loosing yourself. You know what you must do..."

"I know..." Zero stands up and walks towards the door.

"Zero please!" I push my weak body up from the bed to stop him only to collapse to the floor.

"Samantha...." His arms wrap around me. "I am turning into a monster....I don't deserve to live...I almost killed you again tonight...I would never be able to live with myself if I ever do..."
