8. Burning Desire

"I highly doubt that Ichijo..."

"Yuki what is all the hassle about?" I step forward into the group.

"Kaname..." Yuki gets all flustered seeing me like always. I normally think it is adorable, but not today. My mind is only on one thing. "I...uhhh...well"

I look over and I see Zero trying to hide a girl behind him. She is gorgeous, her pink long hair flows around her. She has pale porcelain skin. Her pink eyes meet mine and I have to struggle to hold in my desires. "Who is this..." I then notice Zero gripping the girls arm tightly. "Zero your hurting the poor girl." I cant stop myself from reaching out to the girl I have been trying to meet all week, and now she is just in front of me. However Zero pulls her away from me.

"Kuran get to class."

"Lets go everyone. We would hate to get in trouble for being late." I chuckle. My eyes meet hers again. "I do hope to see you again very soon...."

In the night class the guys cant stop talking about her.

"Did you see how beautiful she was!" Hanabusa sighs out.

"Truly charming indeed!" Takuma agrees.

"I didn't think she was that amazing...." Ruka sighs looking annoyed.

I find myself speaking up from my chair. "No one is to lay a finger on her...."

"Lord Kaname?" Hanabusa asks shocked.

"What are you saying?" Akatsuki asks.

"I am saying she is mine....and only mine.....If I find out anyone touches her, you will answer to me." I stand up and walk from the room feeling all eyes on me.

Meeting Samantha that day at the fountain was like a dream. She is perfect in every aspect. She refused to tell me why she was crying but one way or another I will learn the truth about her. Each following night that week we met by the fountain to talk. I learned that Zero has been pushing her away from him and it is hurting her. She feels so alone with no one she can talk to.

The night I brought her to my dorm I sit on the edge of the bed and I watch her sleep. She moves slightly and her hair falls exposing her porcelain neck to me. I feel my cravings to taste her burn within me. Standing up I leave the room quickly before I lose myself in these desires.

Playing the piano I stop when I sense someone watching me. I turn to see Samantha looking at me in awe.

"Please don't stop.....It's so beautiful" She whispers in an angelic voice.

I smile at her, "Sit with me then." Standing up I offer her my hand. "Let me play just for you Samantha....." She places her delicate hand in mine and I sit her beside me. Playing again I feel her eyes on me and I meet her gaze as I turn back to the piano smiling.

This girl is perfect...and I want her to be all mine and only mine.

"How does one join the night class?" When she asks me this I stare at her in shock.

"Why?"

"I feel so at peace here with you..." She sighs.

"Do you really wish to know?" I ask gazing into her beautiful pink eyes.

"Yes." She whispers sending my heart racing.

"You wish to join us in the night class?" I start to lean in closer to her.

"Yes. What do I have to do? I heard no day class student is allowed to switch."

"That is true..." I whisper. "Unless I allow it...How badly do you wish to join us..." The closer I get to her the stronger my desires for her burn within me.

"I would do anything...." hearing that makes me grin "What must I do?" She asks again.

"Its simple really...." I gaze into her eyes. "Close your eyes...." She does as I ask. Then I take my hand and brush her pink hair off her shoulder exposing her neck to me.

"Kaname?" She whispers my name and I can hear her heart start to beat faster.

I can't take my eyes from her neck as I lean in yet closer. "I will let you join us if that is your wish." I feel her shiver as my breath hits her skin. Softly my lips brush against her neck and I start to lose myself. I feel my fangs start to show and just when I am about to taste her delicious blood. A clicking noise sounds behind me.

"Let go of her...." I watch Samantha look up in shock and her eyes grow wide seeing Zero holding his bloody gun to my head. "Samantha....." He holds his hand out to her. "You can't be here...Come with me..." Zero grabs her and pulls me far away from me.

"Zero..." I laugh out to hide how angry I am for him stopping me from tasting her. "I did nothing wrong....Your the one who drove the poor girl into my arms...She wants to willingly join the night class..."

"That is because she does not know the truth!" Zero spits out as he pulls her from the room.

"She will come back to me Kiryu!" I call out as I look back to the piano and start playing again.

Moments later My hands slam down in fists on the piano causing it to break in half. "Damn him...He thinks he can keep her all to himself...." My body shakes with anger as one of the windows in the room cracks slightly.

"Samantha..." I close my eyes and I can still smell her scent lingering in the air. "I will make you mine." I whisper as I return to my room and collapse on my bed that smells so strongly of this human girl who stole my heart.
