We had started driving awhile ago back to the city, as Ashe's jeep was right where we left it. On the way, I had explained why Ki had arrived, and why he was helping us. I told Ashe that we needed to go back to John's farm because Ki would meet us there. We didn't know what to do anymore, so we all agreed to head there. We tried to keep our heads down while driving through the city in a worst-case scenario. About half an hour later of driving through traffic, avoiding police, and just getting through the city, we made it onto the road straight to John's farm.

"So, you just trust this Ki guy? Because he gave you a vial, that gave you knowledge of everything that you are, and everything that's known about the Dutch Angel Dragons?" Ember spoke up.

"I mean, yeah. He saved my life, he's a dutchie also, and he kinda saved your lives too in a way. We wouldn't have made it out of there without him. And he'll tell us everything John's. I don't know how he knows John, or why there specifically, but I want answers."

"Alright then." Ember said.

About twenty minutes later, we reached John's barn. I could see him in his tractor, plowing the field. We got out of the jeep, and I ran up to the tractor, getting his attention. He stopped moving, shut it down, and asked what's up.

"We need your help."

"Alright then, let me pull in the plow, and I'll be there in a minute."

We were all sitting on bales of hay in the barn when John came walking up. "Alright. What's happenin' now?"

"The first question, do you know of a guy named Ki?"

He seemed to ponder for a minute. "Yeah, I do. He's an old friend. A pure white, silk-smooth Dutch Angel Dragon. I haven't heard o' him or seen him since he took off. Bout' thirty years ago I reckon."

"So you know the Dutch Angel Dragons?" Ashe asked.

"Sure do. They're interestin' creatures. Got some super-natural abilities."

"Okay, I'm just gonna put it out there, I'm a Dutch Angel Dragon, Ki saved us from an organization that wants Ki dead, they have him now, but he told us he'll appear here soon."

John stared for a long moment. "You're a Dutchie?"

"Yes."

"And Ki's alive?"

"Yes."

"And he told you to meet here?"

"Yes."

"Alright then. How long you reckon it'll take till he's here?"

"well, its been about an hour or so, and last time it took an hour ten?"

"Alright then. I'm gonna go finish the fields, ain't much left, then I'll come back ere' an listen to what he has to say."

It took about twenty minutes before Ki appeared. John saw him fall out of the sky a few feet in another field, full of wheat.

I rushed out to go get him, and came back, with John's help, carrying and unconscious Ki in our arms. We gently set him down a hay bale, and a few minutes later, he woke up coughing. I was at his side and handed him a cup of water. He took it, sipped, and sat up, leaning against a pole.

In a raspy voice, he spoke. "Hey, Olly. Long-time no see, eh?"

"Feels like it. How are ya feeling? We found you in the middle of a field."

"I ain't feelin' myself. Fighting them out and two transfers in a day will surely take the energy right out of ya. Anyways, we at Johns?"

"Yeah, we're in his barn." He looked around, taking another sip of water.
