Eren Jaeger practically dragged Akira down the crowded streets of their hometown. The Scouts were back, so you know what that meant: Eren and his friends were going to see them. Akira was mostly just there to keep them out of trouble. Finally, they reached their goal.
"Ok, who's turn is it?" Armin and Eren isn't raise their hands as she bends down so they could climb her back and sit on her shoulders. She wavered slightly as she stood up, purposely waving from side to side as she stood. This got laughs of glee from the two boys sitting on her shoulders.
They could see the soldiers now. They all had on a brave face and looked forwards. The four kids knew them all by name. Akira would always point out who was who and how many kills they had completed.
Today, there was someone Akira didn't recognize. Shaggy black hair blocked his eyes from her view. He must be new, Akira thought to herself. Almost as if she had called his name, the young man turned his head to face her.
Akira offered him a sad smile and nodded. He nodded in return before his grey eyes moved forwards once more.
The man, as she would learn, was Levi Heichou [Ackerman], and he would later became one of the most well known captain of the Scouts Regiment.
