I was confused about the type of love I wanted in my life,
but then I met you.
The pieces of my skewed puzzle of life seemed to come together,
but like a child, you took my puzzle and threw it on the ground.
I was scared to put myself out there, but I did,
that's when I met you.
You felt like a home, not just a house.
But then you gave me an eviction notice.
I put myself in a vulnerable position for you,
but I guess that wasn't enough.
I understood your needs and concerns, respecting them,
but did you realize that through my hurt, I still wanted you?
So, don't tell me you miss me,
only to ghost me like cupids arrow hit too deep and killed you.
Don't whisper sweet nothings,
I'm diabetic, I can only handle so many confections.
Don't try to fix things when I gave my all,
I have nothing left to give.
