SCP-049 x Dying! Reader
[Part 1.] [Short]
[haha, reader will have the bestest plague. I had heard that two men in China had said plague.]
[Oh, and also. 'Tis will be set on the 1300's when the outbreak had happened.]You knew it. Your death will be because of the stupid plague. How'd you get said plague? Well, your sister had infected you. You were looking after her, but to your dismay the plague was infectious. You weren't wearing much of protective clothing, you were just wearing your simple dress. Nothing much of 'protective' clothing. Sadly, your sister had eventually succumbed to the plague. You had to witness her sickly body which is almost covered with black spots be piled up with other victims in a simple wagon.
Gosh, you're going to be piled up together with the other victims of the plague. You heard that all victims of the plague who died shall be cremated because there's no other way to dispose of them. Well, guess what? Since the plague has no cure at all, you'll be eventually cremated, yay! No- you can't accept such fate.
At least a plague doctor had to watch over you. He's not yet here though. He had to attend to his errands first. You find his costume- or entirety to be scary. He has a soothing metallic voice, which makes you wonder if he's human. Is he though? Doesn't really matter, you just need someone to look after you, like how you looked after your sister before she passed away. Death and the plague are surely inevitable. Anyway- said plague doctor never introduced himself. He just said he's the 'cure'. Of course, you're skeptical about that, but you take his words even though you highly doubt it.
"Miss (Y/n), I have arrived to aid and watch over you again." You heard a familiar voice pang outside your room. Ah, it's the 'cure'. He's probably done with all of his errands.
The plague doctor entered your room in a sophisticated manner. Well, it's pretty sophisticated in your own opinion. He's pretty much the definition of a perfectionist. Anywho, he sat on a stool and began to rummage in his medical bag. He's probably looking for some medicine, AKA a literal dead, cut-up pigeon to rub it on your infected body. Or anything else than that. The plague doctor had slumped since he probably had not retrieved the item he was looking for.
"Oh dear, it seems like I have lost the medicine I had brewed for you." The plague doctor stated in disappointment, but he still is insistent to try other alternative ways to cure you or to ease your symptoms. But, you're slowly getting covered by boil-like patches, known as buboes, on your skin.
The plague doctor turned to look at you "Well, did my previous medicine had an effect on you?" He asked while you quietly struggled with your fever and muscle aches. It's pretty unbearable, but it's inevitable.
"N...No." You weakly responded as the plague doctor gave a dissatisfied sigh. Well, the medicine gave no effect at all. It's literally just crushed up generic plants and such.
"S...Sir Plague doctor, w...will you r...really cure me...?" You asked him with tear-filled eyes. Well really, you know there's no cure for the plague, but you just want your symptoms to ease up.
The plague doctor had tensed up, but he went back to his calm posture "I promise. I will cure you, Miss (Y/n). I am the cure after all." He assured you with a hint of pride in his tone, but he seemed unsure.
Anyway, night falls and the plague doctor had already finished his shift. You quietly slept in your bed, but you can hear the sound of a wheel rolling. It seems like a wagon is being pulled. Probably a wagon filled with deceased bodies going to get cremated.
You pushed those thoughts aside as you fully went to sleep without any care. You only have a few days left before your body succumbs to the plague. Hopefully your last few days are memorable...
[I am still sick, but I feel a bit better right now!]
