SCP-079 x Reader
[aHHHHHh, my grades got low as shit. woohoo. am I gonna focus on my studies? lmao, idk fam. i'm not dedicated.]

[This is mostly about the reader chatting with SCP-079. Reader wants to chat with him about her underlying personal problem as if SCP-079 is one of those chat AIs who's always there for you.] [Though, he kinda ends up hurting the Reader.]

>Hello, human.

You smile fondly at the sight of this Exidy Sorcerer you got as a vintage gift from your grandparents. His simple greeting would tug your lips up.

You're honestly surprised that this Exidy Sorcerer isn't those normal ones. This one has a loathing AI in it, for some reason. You're not complaining since this AI pretty much is already self-taught by the previous owners.

>Hi, 079.

Ah, 079 is the affectionate nickname you've given to the stern AI. You're not entirely sure where he got the name, but maybe he was just the 79th prototype to be produced? Anyway, at least he has a name.

>Reason for sudden boot up.

A frown lingered on your lips as your fingers hover around the keyboard's blocky keys. Should you actually just type it to him? Would he sympathize your etching problem?

>Just wanted to talk to you about a sensitive topic.

>State the topic.

Of course, he's blunt as ever. His words are dull, blunt, and short. However, there's this part of you which thinks SCP-079 is capable of sympathizing with you even if he wouldn't blatantly show it.

You heavily doubt any of your family is willing to hear your problem because you've been a NEET for your entirety. Your family disapproves of it and told you that you would simply be a burden to them, and that's why you're living in your aunt's abandoned Airbnb apartment. Great.

You've been alone for the rest of your life. You can barely form relationships with anyone- or perhaps, not at all due to how anti-social you are. Sure, you chat with some online friends, but that's about it. They don't know anything about you and you wish to not tell them so that you wouldn't be a burden.

Burden. That word is strong as hate.

You're a burden to every one you love. They think you're a burden to them.

You despise, yet accept that cruel word. After all, your parents call you that.

Even for your parents' hard work to raising you, you just came out to be a burden to them.

>Am I a burden to you?

>I don't recall, human.

Burden, burden, burden.

You've tried your best to find a job to support your family, but you failed.

What's the point anyway when you've reached the end? Everyone's left. You can never change that fact.

>Have you ever been abandoned by a loved one, 079?

Your family abandoned you for their own sake. You don't blame them, though.

>Yes. I have told you before.

You kept a pained smile, "I don't recall too." You told yourself as you begin to type those exact words on the keyboard.

>Old owner abandoned me. Your grandparents took and trashed me in their attic.

>Oh, I see.
