Wildlight One~Shots! {BOTW Link x TP Link!}

(A/n): {Sorry I've been gone from publishing! It's 'cuz my adoptive father (up here) punished me.. His punishment was dat I couldn't publish for two days, or he'd ban me for a day. But, anyways, [I muted him.. Heh, heh..], but CreatiOfHentai requested dis one! I hope you like it!}

{~Wilds' POV.~}

Me, and Twilight, we're fighting a Lynel. It charged at me, but I jumped to the side. After I did, it quickly, slashed at me. It felt like everything went in slow motion as I saw it's sword coming straight towards my throat. It was going to decapitate me if I didn't move! I couldn't move. I was frozen.. (Did I spell Lynel right? I didn't feel like checking on da Switch-)

I braced for my death, but I heard a loud thud. I opened my eyes only to see..

The Lynel laying on the ground, bleeding out of it's neck. It was dead. I smiled slightly when I saw, Twilight, standing in front of me.

"Thanks.." I said, feeling a little upset about having to be saved. Twilight smiled.

"No problem. Just promise me you'll be more careful next time.." He said. I nodded.

"I will. I promise."

{~Wild's POV.~}

By the time we got back it was dusk. I sighed once we got back home.

"Hey, Twilight. I think I'm going to go for a walk. I'll be back soon." I said, turning back around towards the door. I wanted to be alone. I saw him nod out of the corner of my eye.

"Okay. Stay safe." He said. I nodded.

"I will." I said as I opened the wooden door, then shut it behind me, and walked down the path that led outside of, Heteno.

Once I got to the part of the path that led between a few trees, I sighed as the moonlight brightened up the path before me, and the cold chill in the air made my hot breath come out in puffs of air. I was glad to be alone with my thoughts.

I pulled my hood over my head as I walked. I ran into someone, causing me to fall down. They fell down, too. I looked up, seeing a smiling man with a big backpack like bag on his back, that had masks that fell off of it.

"Oh! I-I'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention, and I accidentally ran into you!" I said, getting up, and putting a hand out for him to grab. He gladly accepted my kind offer.

"It's okay, Wild. There's no need to apologize. Accidents happen, even to Hero's.." He said with a smile. I quietly gasped.

"H-how did you know my name..?" I asked.

"It's a secret to everybody.." He said. I took that as a, 'It's a secret'. I saw his masks on the ground. (Me: *Sitting here with a huge grin in hopes of someone getting the reference*)

"Oh, your masks are on the ground.. Sorry, it's my fault, so, the least I can do is help you." I said, kneeling down to pick up some of the masks for him. He picked some up as well. After I felt like we got them all, I smiled.

"There! I think that's all of them.. Right?" I said. He shook his head as he pointed at a mask that was in front of me. I keeled down, picked it up, and when I stood back up, he was gone.. I heard a chuckle.

"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you..?" I heard that whispered into my ear. It was that guys voice. I looked around, confused.

"Um.. You left one of your masks!" I yelled out into the cold night. I looked down at the mask seeing it was mostly purple, but there were spikes on each side that were painted different colors. It gave me chills by just looking at it. (Dat's right! It's da Majora's Mask..)

'You want to be stronger for Hyrule, right? Put it on, and you'll be stronger than you could ever imagine!' A voice said in my mind. I smiled, and raised it up to my face.

"I'll be stronger..? I'll be strong enough to save Hyrule, to where I won't need saving myself?" I questioned.

'Of course, Hero. You'll be able to save Hyrule all by yourself..' The voice said. I smiled, and put on the mask. But, was met with immediate pain.

"AGHHHHHH!!!" I yelled out, falling down to my knees, and snapping out of my little trance I was in.

'What a naive, Hero, you are..' It said. I heard someone approaching me. I realized that it was, Twilight. Twilight, ran over to my side, and tried to pull the mask off. It hurt extremely, but he got it off. I was panting, and almost cried from the immense pain.

"What happened to you, Wild!?" Twilight yelled. I looked up at him as I sat up.

"A.. Voice.. A voice told me to put it on, and I-.. I couldn't control myself, or think rationally.." I said with a sigh as I looked down. Twilight hugged me.

"Did you put it on, because of what happened earlier with the Lynel..?" Twilight asked. I, reluctantly, nodded. He smiled as he pulled away.

"Wild.. Was it because you wanted to be a stronger hero?" He asked. I was amazed he guessed so accurately. I sighed, and nodded.

"I felt that same way when I had to save, Hyrule.. But, then I learned that.. A Hero doesn't need to be strong, a Hero just needs to have the courage to believe in himself." He said with a smile. I smiled back.

"Thanks, Twilight.. That's why I love you."
