Day ten
Mom and Dad arrived in the morning, Ada and I were so eager to hear what they had to tell us, what made them leave the house suddenly. Deep down I prayed it was nothing serious or bad because dad sounded a bit nervous when he called me and told me they were coming back.

Ada and I screamed out loud, we were not even expecting that, it wasn't a bad news I felt relieved.

We went to mom's side and hugged her, Ada was already crying by the time she finished hugging mom. It was the best news ever. We were going to get a younger sibling, it had always been Ada and I but that was about to change.
We left our parents and I decided to share the news with Laura
"You say wetin!!! She's what!! OMG!!! How's that even possible? Is she not supposed to be menopausal at this age?"
Inner thoughts : why are you people not even thinking about this? Your mom being pregnant means your parents are having sex at this age😨😨😨😫😫😫
Me: please next time don't ever mention that to me, it's not an imagery I want to keep in my head!!

Everyone in the house began to pamper mom from the minute dad disclosed the information to us. We'd get her everything she wants. I told her I was canceling my date to spend time with her but she insisted that I leave the house ASAP.
The bar guy called me later, he asked if enjoyed our date and I had to tell him yes. Even though he put me in danger.

He promised to use my name in one of his rap songs and even though I loathed the idea, I told him that it was fabulous and that I would enjoy that.
I got to the restaurant and my date was already there, for a change I wasn't going to wait for minutes.
As I was walking to our table I bumped into a guy who seemed familiar. It was the waiter that I found out to be the son of the restaurant's owner.
He smiled and I did too. I apologized for that day that he was embarrassed and made sure we exchanged contacts, I admired how humble he was and I believed he'd be a good friend to Ada.
I walked to the table and sat, he looked at me and smiled. Before we even got talking a group of police officers barged in.
My date tried to hide but he couldn't, all I heard was
"See him there, na him be that!!! "
The next thing I saw was the guy being cuffed and dragged out of the restaurant
Inner thoughts : This is the fastest date ever 😂😂😂, it was over before it began
I stood up so ashamed, and quickly left the restaurant. Who knew what the man did that made the police come after him?. My thoughts were interrupted by a couple who called the man that got arrested a yahoo boy.
I got home and avoided any question from my family. I didn't want to be laughed at.
I went to the chart and graded him nothing. I just put a dot in the compartment and went to my bed.
I was woken up by a call from David and I hurriedly left the house to meet him.
He told me how happy he was with the improvement he has made, He was so excited while he talked. He had been relating with people, how easy it was for him to interact with people.
"It's all because of you, I see your face while I speak to them. It helps me from freaking out, thanks a lot Amy"
I hugged him and honestly I didn't want to let go
Inner thoughts :😒😒😒im becoming bored with you two, get this over with please!!
When we broke apart he leaned in for a kiss, then stopped and brought out a blind fold.
Inner thoughts : 🙄🙄🙄🙄it was interesting the first time, now I hate it. Tell smoker to discard that thing
I held his hand and took the blind fold from his hands.
" it's my turn to surprise you today " I said
He smiled and handed it over.
I stood on my toes in order to put the blind fold over his face, he was taller than I am.
When I did, I drew his face closer and kissed him. Slowly removing the piece of cloth from his face. Kissing David was beautiful and I wanted him to see it.
He mumbled something about being scared but I only deepened the kiss, our tongues dancing with a certain rhythm.
I felt more than alive, I felt love and it was beautiful. And deep down I felt at home with him, kissing him wiped away unpleasant memories of the day.
