Kion and Bunga were the first ones to make it to the battlefield. Both the lion and honey badger looked around them to all the different animals fighting one another and both thought them same thing.

This ends today.

Bunga jumped off of Kion and not too soon after Simba and Kopa followed alongside them.

"It's even worse up close", Kopa said, but he still had hope that he could put an end to this once and for all.

"We can put a stop to this, we just have to get their attention", Simba said firmly.

"Just leave that to me", Kion said to the other two lion and turned towards the fighting.

"Are you gonna do what I think you are?", Bunga asked, with growing excitement.

"You bet I am!", Kion grinned at the beaming badger's enthusiasm. He took a deep breath and got himself into a more serious mindset. He let a growl form deep in his chest and felt the familiar energy that had been missing for a while returning to him. He felt the presence of his ancestors assisting him in ending the conflict. With all the force Kion could muster he roared as loud as he could directly towards the battlefield. He altered the effect of the Roar to instead of blasting everyone away, instead by a force too loud and powerful to be ignore by anyone. Sure enough as the Roar echoed to the farthest reaches of the savanna the urge to fight was quickly diminished and soon every animal Outland and Prideland had their eyes of the three lions.

Kion used the power of the Roar to raise the land under Simba and Kopa's so they could be elevated for many to see.

"Everyone, please. The fighting has to stop!", SImba announced to the wave of onlookers.

"Killing each other will not accomplish anything!", Kopa added in.

"But it was you that told us to fight!", the voice of a hyena shouted in protest. Other voices rose up in agreement and Kopa silenced them with a raise of his paw.

"You are right, this was all started by me. But I was wrong. We don't have to fight and take the land that others call home. We would be no better. No, we can be better than that. We can all live in peace", Kopa explained. Some Outlanders were confused by what the lion was talking about, but they listened on.

"Kopa has shown me that I was wrong as well. Banishment was a horrible punishment that did no good for anyone. All it caused was suffering and distrust among creatures who should all be united. We are all a part of the Circle of Life and everyone should have a chance to be a part of it", Simba added.

"It is now that we propose a Promise of Peace between the Pridelands and Outlands. Acts of the past will be forgiven and all will have a chance at life", Simba announced.

"The hate between the Pridelands and Outlands cannot continue. There are many on both sides who were never part or around when sins of the past were committed. We should be reaching out to one another and ensuring a future than every animal can live in harmony", Kopa agreed. Many voiced of both Pridelanders and Outlanders raised their voices in agreement.

"Harmony..", Simba smiled. "It will not be easy, there is a lot of unresolved conflict and actions of the past between all of us; but we can all try to be there for one another and ensure a future of harmony for those how come after us!"

"The war is over! The Outlanders are free from banishment! To be free is a wonderful thing but we must remember to not waste it. We must respect the Circle of Life or another war like this is bound to happen", there was a serious silence that hung through the crowd, the animals taking into consideration what Kopa was saying.

"From this day forward as king I will ensure that the Promise of Peace is withheld!", Simba announced.

"As will I", Kopa put in. There were many cheers between both sides. The conflict was over and peace had been established. It certainly seemed fast but no one could deny that peace was a much more favorable outcome to fighting.

Even the hyenas and jackals were willing to respect the circle of life it meant putting the Outlands behind them. It felt like a dream that could never be realized.

Simba and Kopa watched as the side that were previously at each other's throat were indeed starting to come together. Of course they could see that there was some tension and hostility between them but no one was fighting anymore.

"You think this will really work out?", Kopa asked, looking among that crowd.

"It won't be easy, but I do", Simba nodded to his son.

"As leader of the Lion Guard I'll make sure that things in the Pride Lands, Outlands and wherever are peaceful", Kion said dutifully as his shoulder began to glow, his mark returning.

Bunga looked to his shoulder and found his own mark returned.

"We should find Mom and Kiara", Kion reminds his father.

"And that Kovu guy, too", Bunga added. "They'll all be psyched that it's all over now."

"What about you, Kopa?", Kion asked his older brother. "What are you going to do now?"

"There are many things I have to do, Kion. Especially if I want to atone for starting all this in the first place. For starters I want to bring life back to the Outlands, we can't expect everyone to fit in the Pride Lands now can we?", Kopa confirmed.

"So the Outlands used to have life in it? Like actually plants and stuff?", Bunga asked, finding it more than hard to believe.

"A long time ago, when I was a cub", Simba confirmed. "Perhaps it's possible to regrow what was lost."

"I think the Guard would want to help with something like that", Kion grinned.

"But we can talk about that later, I think it's about time we all reunite", Simba said. Kion nodded and the two started to find Nala, Kiara and Kovu.

Kopa watched them walking off and began to wonder what he should do when something grabbed his leg. He looked down to see Bunga grinning up at him. "Aren't you coming, too?"

"Huh?", Kopa asked in confusion.

"Come on. You're a part of our family, Kopa. You're Kion's brother and in a way that makes you mine too and I'm not leaving my brother here all alone", Bunga said with his trademark confidence.

"Thank you, Bunga", Kopa said, the badger's words meant the whole world to him. Bunga was right, he does have a family and he does want to be a part of it again. He bent down so Bunga could climb on his back and he bounded after Simba and Kion.
