18 Months Later
"She is so cute!" Jungkook squeaked watching little Maelee walk out on the dance floor with Taehyung.
"She looks just like Namjoon though." Hoseok said. "Look at her dimples."
"Do you think they did it on purpose when they adopted her?"
"I doubt it. It was a happy coincidence."
Yoongi and I didn't say much. We just sat there and watched out little neice dance with her daddy. Maelee was a 14-month-old whose mother could no longer take care of her. She signed over documents to put her up for adoption, and by grace she was only in foster care for a month before Namjoon got a call about her needing a home. After a year of foster care, he and Tae were able to officially adopt her, and now, she is their daughter. I had the pleasure of taking her on a girl's day before the wedding ceremony. She was talkative and called me Unnie. I put her thick hair in little braids at the front pulling it from her cute face. I used little pins that matched the gold in her dress and in her boquet to decorate her hair.
She also insisted on me spraying sparkles in her hair. She wanted to glow and more or less steal the show from the grooms, but they were okay with that. The flower petals in her tiny basket were white and pink, and the pink was a perfect contrast to the gold color of the wedding party.
She was a beautiful girl. She had dark brown hair, almost black, deep brown eyes and dimples almost as deep as Namjoon's. She was a sweet girl, and now has just turned three. Just as smart as Namjoon, and as happy as Taehyung, she was perfect for them. They loved being parents. Loved it. They have already been talking about adopting another, asking Maelee what she wanted, a brother or a sister.
She said 'both.'
Jin and Jimin's wedding was beautiful. More extravagant than Namjoon and Taehyung but that was to be expected. I wore a gold dress, one matching that of Maelee as she was the flower girl. The rest of the guys wore suits with gold trimmings.
Jimin insisted on everyone dancing the group dances, Jin especially. I was impressed with his lack of hesitation to do so, focused only on the man he loved and making him happy.
Jin has been talking about getting a few 'cousins' for Maelee, and Jimin agreed only if they waited a full year first. He wanted his time alone with his husband first.
Jungkook moved in with Hoseok about a year ago. Hoseok was head over heels for Jungkook. It was funny to see because years ago Jungkook was pining over Hoseok, stuck in the 'friend zone.' Now he can't do anything or go anywhere without talking to Jungkook. Not that he was required to do so, he was just so love-struck by his boyfriend that he didn't want to be far from him for very long.
It was honestly adorable.
Jungkook loved it. Always told him that he didn't need to ask his opinion when he wanted to do something. They had a very ideal relationship.
We all sat there, watching Taehyung dance with Maelee and I heard Hoseok audibly sigh. "I think I want to adopts. But I think I would have to adopt boys. I'd kill someone if they tried touching my daughter."
Jungkook turned to Hoseok so quickly I thought he had strained his neck. "What?"
"Boys. I think if we adopt, I want all boys. At least 2 though so they have a sibling to grow up with." He smiled and turned to a wide eyed, shocked, Jungkook. "What?"
"You...you want children?"
"Yeah but not until after marriage. I want to do the big wedding thing just like the rest of them, but maybe a year or so later I think applying for adoption would be a good timing. What do you think?"
