Yoongi and I both were trying to hold back our laughing as we watched the wheels turn in Jungkook's head. He was trying to keep his breathing regular and not freak out about what Hoseok as laying on him. He took a deep breath and though his voice was a little shaky, he managed to ask the question that was on the tip of his tongue in a normal volume.
"I thought you didn't like the idea of marriage. You said it wasn't anything that you would want to do."
Hoseok grinned and leaned forward so that he was only inches from a frozen Hoseok. "I changed my mind." He then placed the softest of kisses against his lips making Jungkook crack a smile when he pulled back.
He cleared his throat and stood up. "Can I talk with you...privately?"
Hoseok chuckled and stood. "Sure, babe." He reached his hand out and Jungkook took it pulling him hard out of the reception hall through the double doors. Before it closed you could see Jungkook jump on Hoseok wrapping his arms around him and kissing him hard.
I laughed and turned over to Yoongi who was laughing with me. When we locked eyes I could have melted into a pool of jelly.
The reaction this man gets out of me is just insane.
My heart races, my breath gets heavy, my stomach flops, and my thighs clench.
I love him.
The song changed from a fast pace to a slow and steady one, and Yoongi looked over me then back at me with a grin. He stood and extended his hand to me making me smile. "Honor me with a dance?"
"Of course."
I took hold of his hand and he pulled me up and walked me over to the dance floor. Maelee was not between her dads, dancing...well sleeping, on Namjoons shoulder while Tae held her and moved with the rhythm. Jin had Jimin in his arms, leading the dance for once, and I dont think I've ever seen Jimin smile so widely.
Once we were in the mix of couples Yoongi pulled me in tightly, his left hand resting on the small of my back pulling me close, and his right hand holding my left against his chest. I followed his lead, impressed that he knew how to lead to begin with.
But then again, he impresses me every day.
Even with things I already know about him.
"You know the last time we were at a wedding reception like this, you dreaded dancing with me." He teased in a low voice in my ear.
I felt goosebumps scatter across my skin and I lifted my head to with a smirk. "How naïve and stupid I used to be. Good thing I know better now."
He chuckled and kissed me softly. "So much has changed." He started. "Namjoon and Tae are parents, Jin and Jimin are finally married, and Hoseok and Jungkook are...." He paused not quite sure what the right word was.
"Progressing." I said with a smile.
"Yes. Progressing." He laughed. "If someone told me I'd have you in my arms right now, at this wedding, I don't know if I would have believed them."
"I would have to say I agree." I laughed. "But I am so glad I'm here."
"In my arms." He continued pulling me tighter against him.
I laughed and nodded resting my head on his shoulder. "Where I belong."
After a few peaceful moments of hearing only the music, Yoongi spoke again, his words confusing mes. "You were wrong, you know."
"What about?"
"You fell for my charm."
I lifted my head and looked at him, still confused. "I don't follow."
