The fact that we haven't showered in a few days was a little nerving to me. I don't even remember the last time I showered, because I mainly would shower in my own TARDIS. Periodically I would sneak into some of the local gyms and use their showers there. It is easy to get anywhere with a sonic probe and a piece of psychic paper.

I walk down to my own room and grab a plain black t-shirt, shorts, and some undergarments. I then walked down to the shower to hear that the Doctor must still be in there, because I can hear the shower running and a deep voice humming to themselves.

I walked back to my room to wait for the Doctor to be done with his shower. My room has more of a dark theme to it, lots of blues, purples, and black themes. My bed is in the middle, adorned with silk black sheets and grey pillows. The walls were a very dark blue, with golden Gallifreyan circular writing written all over the walls. In the corner was a workbench, with hundreds of little gadgets and miscellaneous gears, springs, wires, and tools. Books were spread out as far as the eye could see, and even though there was a lot of things, it was all neatly kept. I spent a lot of my time on my workbench and in the center console room working on bits and pieces of the TARDIS, making it a little bit better. My mind worked best on my workbench, so there I would spend most of my time working on the different projects.

I picked up one of my recent projects. I was trying to put a high volume perception filter on one of the circuits of the TARDIS, mainly so only I would be able to see where the TARDIS is parked. It was a pain in the butt to have to explain to someone why they can't just knock down a random door in the alleyway just so they could explore it. I wanted people to just walk by the TARDIS and not even notice that it is there. Right now I have a very low volume perception filter, but I'm working on making it stronger.

I take the soldering tool and I heat it up as I got the few wires ready. I put another circuit on the circuit board as I got the wire and soldering tool ready. I essentially welded the circuit onto the board. Luckily I didn't need to do much more than that, other than make it look pretty.

I got out my paints and paintbrushes from the inside of one of the many drawers in my workbench and pulled out a black and blue bottle of paint. I started to paint the circuits when I hear the water stop.

Great, in a few minutes I can shower. Finally.

It wasn't just a few minutes.

I go over to the bathroom door with my clothes in my hand and knock, "You know, you aren't the only person that needs to shower around here. And as much as I would like the TARDIS to make another bathroom, I don't think she's..."

He swings the door open, holding a single towel around his waist. His hair was completely soaked and spiking all over the place. He looks at me with wide eyes and his face turns pure crimson as he realizes that he is wearing nothing but a towel.

I turn away, facing the wall opposite of the bathroom, "Oops, sorry about that..."

"It's fine." I hear him quietly say as he almost runs to his bedroom. I hear the footprints slow down and then stop.

"Uh, Mel?" he yells out.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"Where exactly is my bedroom?"

"Next to mine. Keep going, it's the second door on your left."

I hear him open a door, "Thanks Mel!"

I open the door to the bathroom and I see a pile of the Doctor's clothes that he has left on the bathroom floor. I sigh and I put it down the dirty laundry chute that was in the wall of the bathroom. Hopefully the TARDIS gave him some clothes. That would be another awkward encounter that I would rather not have.
