By the tine Saturday night had rolled around, I was in dire need to let loose. Work had been killer, long hours that left me struggling to remember why I'd fought so hard for this career path. Although I hope that everyone has those moments in their jobs..right?

Julian had left me a message when I got home from work to give me strict instructions. I was to be at the club at 8:30 sharp wearing something downright sinful. Which thankfully narrowed down half my clothing options.

I settled on a low cut black dress, which oddly left me looking like a low-rent Fran Fine but I felt good nonetheless. Partly thanks to the glasses of wine to 'take the edge off'.

When I arrived at the club, I was stumped to find almost half of New York it seemed were lined up. It was strange to see when I thought about how normal Julian was, the fame thing was a weird thing to connect.

"Psst" at first I thought I'd just been hearing things, keeping my eyes ahead of the worlds longest line in front of me.

The buzzing seemed to get louder, which is when I finally turned around out of annoyance, to my surprise I was greeted with a slightly opened door with a musical genius ushering me to come in.

"Well hello to you too" I smiled when Julian pulled me through the door, his hand clasped in mine.

"Did you see that line? Holy shit I don't think I've ever played to that many people" he was rambling, his eyes wide and nervous, it was endearing. "We only posted a few flyers too, Jesus"

"Julian!" I giggled, and effectively cut off his rambling when I placed me arms over his. He seemed to finally see me.

"Fuck"

His eyes roamed me over, basking me in his treacly gaze leaving me feeling an odd stir in my stomach. He licked his lips before pulling me for the second time that night by my hand, to what I assumed what another dressing room.

"When I said sinful, I didn't mean give me a fucking heart attack" his hands found my waist, toying with the feel of the dress, I smiled in response.

"Oh no, don't go dying on me now man, I didn't even have to pay to get in!" I giggled, Julian smiled but still seemed entranced. It felt good.

"You look beautiful, I'm going to kiss you now, I'll try to restrain myself" he breathed, silence falling over us as his lips met mine. It wasn't like our prior kisses, this was heady and lustful, making my head spin with excitement.

His hands grasped at my jaw as I let the taste of cigarettes and mint encompass me completely, getting a little carried away as I hiked my leg to his hip. I'm only human after all.

Our little rendezvous was cut short by a knock at the door. Julian groaned as we pulled apart, and I let out a blush as I saw him adjust himself to answer the door.

"What do you want?" He opened the door a crack, leading me to not see the other person.

"What bit your dick Casablancas?" Fabrizio. I chucked slightly at his words, causing Fab to widen the door. "Ah, I see, hello again Kat" he grinned like a schoolboy, my own matching his.

"Hello Fabrizio, awfully sorry about Julians rash greeting" I smiled as he entered and pulled me into a hug.

"Oh I'm used to it, ever since the kids we've never regained our spark back" he sighed woefully, earning a laugh from me.

"Fab" Julian replied, a little antsy now, I think keen to get back to our little antics.

"Chill dude, I came to say we're on in five, so you guys will have to stop your little seven minutes in heaven" Fab smirked, leaving both me and Jules a deep red. Maybe the lipstick Julian was now wearing was a slight giveaway.

"Okay, I'll be out now" Julian sighed as Fab left with a little wave and kissing sounds for effect. Ever the child of the group.

Julian turned his attention back to me, "Where were we?" He leaned in but I stopped him with a giggle and a finger to his jaw.

"Nuh uh! You've gotta get out there rockstar" I smiled, messing up his hair for good measure.

"But I wanna fool around with you" Julian smirked, leaning into my hand in his hair.

"Oh sure tell that to all your fans, I'm sure they'll be thrilled they stood in line for that"

He smiled, a hand resting on my cheek, "You gonna stand in the wings?" He asked, his eyes boring into my own. Downright swoon worthy.

"Fuck no! I'm gonna be in the crowd with the rest of the sweaty youth of New York, moshing and whatnot" he let out a laugh through his nose.

"Wouldn't expect anything else from you" he leaned in again leaving a soft kiss on my lips, making me lose my composure. "Come backstage when we're done?"

"Sure, I may have to fight off the groupies but I'm willing to take the risk"

"One look in that dress and they'll be switching lanes real fast" Julian flirted, eyeing me up for the umpteenth time that night.

"Charming, now come on, get out there"

"Jeez now you're getting rid of me, I was joking about the groupies you know! You're mine tonight" he held my hand as we walked up through the club.

"Happily Casablancas"

He smiled and left me one last peck before turning to see the guys, not before I quickly grabbed him and tried to hide the red smear across his lips. To which he only gave me a confused look.

"Don't ask, Good luck!" I gave him a cheesy thumbs up.
