Mysterious Kunoichi (Part 1 of 2 in the MK Series)

I awoke the next morning and finished dressing. I checked in with Eagle and we waited for Tenzo to arrive. Eagle was always a quiet man, and quite harsh with his words. I was racking my brain for his name, but I just couldn't seem to remember it. He didn't like me, and I didn't particularly care for him. He was the one that called me out months ago, asking why he needed to respect me. What was his name? This was going to bother me now.

"Morning." Tenzo greeted.

"Morning." I answered as Eagle simply gave a nod.

"Anything to report?" Tenzo pointed his question to Eagle, since I was off over night, like Tenzo.

"No. Just an occasional strange noise from one of the rooms. Nothing of concern though." The color drained from my face and I was thankful that I had put my mask on.

"Strange noise?" Tenzo cut his eyes to me and I shrugged.

"Sounded as though someone had company last night." Eagle offered as an explination.

"How would that be possible? Archer, did anyone enter the premises?"

"No." Eagle answered for me. "I was at the door the entire night. Seems as though Archer made friends quickly."

"Do you have something you want to say to me?"

"Nothing at all. I was just wondering why the top solo ANBU got put on this detail and now it all makes sense. When you're fucking the Kazekage's brother, you get special treatment."

"Excuse me?" My anger was rising.

Tenzo stood perfectly still, unsure of what to do. He didn't like confrontation at all, and he knew how short my temper was.

"You must be fucking Ibiki too, all the special treatment you get at TIF. Or," He smirked and stepped closer to me, "maybe you swing both ways and Anko gets to join you for a little fun every now and then."

By now, the lightning was skimming my skin, the hair on my arms and neck stood due to the static. The sky darkened above us, a sudden storm forming out of nowhere. Tenzo placed a hand on each of our shoulders, trying to calm us both. He quickly pulled the one on my shoulder back, not enjoying the shock he received.

"Listen, Eagle," I cut the remaining distance between us, our masks the only thing separating us, "You can shove whatever issue you have with me up your ass. Along with whatever obsession you have with my sex life. Who I fuck, and who I don't fuck, are none of your concern. Then again, maybe you're jealous. Of me, not of the men I sleep with. It's quite obvious you could never please a woman, so you must have a thing for men."

"You bitch." He gritted out.

"Yes, I am. Thank you for noticing." I mock saluted him.

"Must you always cause trouble?"

"Ibiki-san, good morning." I chirped happily, as though nothing was wrong.

Ibiki eyed the sky and then looked back between Eagle and myself. The lightning had calmed on my skin, but the storm still loomed overhead. "Is there an issue?" Ibiki finally asked.

"Archer seems to be in a relationship with the Kazekage's brother." Eagle spoke before Tenzo or I could answer.

Ibiki looked at me curiously and then back to Eagle, "You're dismissed."

"Bu-"

"I said you're dismissed." Ibiki spoke sternly, showing there was no room for an argument.

"She has to be fucking you." Before Eagle to move, Ibiki held him by the throat.

"I would like for you to know, that she most certainly is not. She is like a daughter to me. Also, if she is in a relationship with someone in that home, that is her business, not yours, and not mine even. Did said relationship impede her duty as a member of the ANBU?" Eagle began stuttering, unable to answer. "Did it?!" Ibiki yelled.
