As Astrid showed the track list and explained each song, Gina couldn't help but gulp. She knew she influenced these songs and that wasn't because she didn't feel love for Astrid anymore. Up until a couple of weeks ago Gina was sure that she was still in love with her, but then Nini came into her life. And although Gina hadn't admitted it to herself yet, Nini was the reason she was over Astrid.
It still did hurt her to think that she hurt one of her best friends so much. She just thanked the universe that they were all still such good friends.

Gina smiled at the memory of New Years Eve. It was just a couple of days ago and now the girls had to leave. They had already packed everything up but their flight wasn't until midnight so they had time to kill before heading to the airport.
Astrid had asked Vanna to leave them alone for a few after the movie they were watching ended and just as it did, Vanna shot up from the bed and made her way into the bathroom across the hall.
"Gina..."
Gina looked up as she had been texting Nini. Surprising herself and Nini as they actually had good conversations without Gina trying to push her away. What we're literally friends now.
"Yeah whats up?"
Astrid took a deep breath in before sitting closer to her and grabbing her hand. "Look when my album comes out. Know that what I sang, I don't feel any of that anymore. I love you, yes and maybe some part of me will always be in love with you but we both know that we weren't meant to be. Look at us now, we're even better friends. I love you with all my heart Gi, and those songs. They mean so much to me, but never for one second think that I hold any malice towards you because of our break up. I wrote most of those when I was angry and sad, but we're okay. We're perfect just as friends now. Plus I want you to get your girl"
"Wait what?"
Astrid shot her a pointed looked. "Nini"
"Yeah no we're just friends"
"Like how we were friends?" Gina looked down and Astrid smirked.
"By the way, it wasn't just Vanna helping."
Gina looked up shocked at the confession the other girl had made. "You were fucking in on it too!"
She reached to slap Astrid's shoulder just as Vanna walked back in and all three laughed.
"Well now that you two got closure, what do you say we invite Ej and Ash over. It is our last time here for a minute"
