"Gina c'mon let's go already!!"

Nini was beyond excited to finally head to a carnival that had been in town for about two weeks. She had gone with her moms and their friends but this time she was excited because it was only her and Gina. Ej has his last Water Polo meet, but he told the girls not to go and just go have a date at the carnival. Plus they had already surprised him at his Senior night earlier in the week.

"Nini...babe, calm down"

Nini was practically buzzing and she still wanted to stop by and get coffee before hand. Gina was sure that she wasn't letting that happen, she was already gonna deal with a hyper Nini as soon as the girl got cotton candy in her system.

Gina finished putting the blankets and snacks into the car and finally closed the back. The carnival did a fireworks show every night and it was usually packed so they figured they'd lay a blanket down on top of the car and watch laying down. That would be Gina's favorite part.

Gina walked over to Nini, who was still jumping excitedly. She hugged her from behind and Nini immediately melted into Gina's embrace. Gina put her head on top of Nini's shoulders, tilting it to see Nini better. Nini smiled at the interaction she was having with her girlfriend. She could finally say that Gina was her girlfriend and had been for almost a month.
Gina kissed Nini's shoulder and then slightly pulled her towards the car.

"C'mon babe, we have to get going"

Nini totally expected Gina to kiss her way up to kissing her. But the girl didn't, so when Gina held Nini's hand pulling her towards the car, Nini held onto it tighter and pulled Gina to her. Gina laughed at Nini's actions.

"Weren't you the one that was in a rush?"

Gina's words were said in a teasing manner and Nini rolled her eyes. She put her hands on the sides of Gina's face before pulling her in. Nini loved kissing Gina.

Before the two became official, Nini dreamed of kissing the other girl. To feel that connection between the two of them. A bond that only they shared. Nini dreamed of kissing Gina and then smiling into the kiss just because it brought them utter bliss.

Now that she was kissing her, she knew that her dreams had become reality. Kissing Gina was pure bliss. It brought a feeling of happiness Nini didn't recognize at all. She just felt complete with Gina by her side and in her arms.

When the two pulled away from each other Gina held Nini in an embrace while Nini's hands were still on Gina's face. They were both sure that they could stay like that forever.

"No rush here. I already got my dream."

Gina threw her head back laughing and smiled at the older girl. The two hadn't even been talking about dreams but they surely were thinking about them.

"You're a dork"

"Remember what i said the first time you called me that... Yeah, I'm your dork now"

Gina laughed again and finally pulled Nini into the car. When she was pulling out of the drive way and Nini was mindlessly bopping her head to the soft music that was playing on the radio, Gina couldn't help but look over at her girlfriend.

She didn't know how she allowed herself to be so goddamn open with one person. She had no clue how she managed to fall so quickly for Nini. She just had no clue about any of it.

What she was sure of was that Nini was her other half, and she didn't want to let her go. Not now that they just started dating or ever. Even if after the next school year Nini would be off at college.
