Your POV:
It's been three days since I've last talked to Richie. I think he understands what I'm doing to him. I walked to my locker and there awaited Richie.

"So you've been avoiding me," He says.

"I needed some space that's all."

"So tell me, don't have people lie to me." He says walking away.

"I mean it's pretty hard when you're constantly hunting me down and calling me." I scoff.

"Well, I guess I was worried for nothing. Not my fault you can't handle your emotions." He mumbles.

"Fine, be that way and don't talk to me!" I yell, pissed from his comment.

"Yeah, maybe it's better that way!" He says storming off. I open my locker and Mike, Lucas, and Max stare at me.

"What was that about?" Lucas asks.

"Nope, I'm done." I said walking away.

"No, y/n. I understand that what he said was wrong but you were wrong too." Mike says.

"He was worried about you, and he was pissed when he figured out you ditched him." Mike finishes.

"I understand needing space but you both need to communicate that with each other." Max says smiling lightly. She looked drained tired even. Lucas put his arm around her shoulders.

"You're right." I admit.

"Just talk to him tomorrow and make up and maybe a little kiss." Lucas jokes.

"Hey guys sorry we're lat—" Tanner apologizes running towards us with Dustin following close behind her.

"What the hell are you doing at school?" I scold.

"College attendance is important." She says jokingly.

"And so is functioning like a normal human being. You need to figure out...everything." Max says agreeing with me.

"I need to get out my house, my Dad is making funeral arrangements and he's not a person I need right now. I just need to get my mind off things." She said seriously. We all nodded.

Time Skipppp

"This the fifth time on a Wednesday they are arguing." Lucas whines. Seeing Tanner and Richie looking upset with each other.

"It's looks really bad this time." Mike says.

"Have any of you talked to them about it?" Max asked.

"I tried and she completely ignores the topic." Dustin says.

"Same with Richie." I sigh. The bell rings and we leave separately. Richie completely walks past me and doesn't say a single word.

Tomorrow we be different.

March 4th, 1986 Hawkins, Indiana
I get up first thing in the morning and I plan out my apology. I eat breakfast and leave the house early. I walk into school and wait by Richie's locker. I hear him talking to another boy.

"I can't believe your dating y/n, she's totally hot." A boy says.

"Yeah, I guess. She's just annoying to deal with most of the time. She can also be a total bitch she's too clingy, whiny, and she has no chill." Richie says. My eyes water from his words. I move out the way and he runs up to me.

"Y/n what's wrong?" He asks.

"Nothing, I'm just a whiny bitch who has no chill." I say repeating his cruel words.
