It's A Small World // Gini AU

She ran down the stairs and opened the door. When she opened it she saw a soaked Gina and she couldn't help but laugh.

"Gi it's not even raining what the fuck?"

Gina shrugged and Nini quickly pulled her inside so she could freeze to death.

"Why didn't you open the door?"

Nini asked the girl as soon as they were upstairs and Gina was standing in the bathroom brushing her teeth.

"Your moms took the key. They left a small note, it was cute."

Nini nodded her head and before she could speak again her phone vibrated and then her doorbell rang.
"Must be the food. You gonna shower real quick?"

Gina nodded her head and Nini left her to do her business before walking down the stairs and thanking her dasher for the food. She put both of the bowls into the microwave so they would stay a bit warm and then unpacked the chips and guacamole she had also ordered.

She went into the living room where she then turned on her tv and put on friends. She had her moms buy the show on iTunes because she couldn't live without it.

After about an episode and a half Gina came back down the stairs and grabbed the two bowls and two forks from the kitchen and quickly went to sit with Nini.

"I'm surprised we even found a Chipotle open this last"

Nini nodded her head.
"I think it's because it's a Friday night"

Gina took a bite of her tortilla and looked Nini.
"So where are Mamma D and C?"

Nini shrugged.
"They closed Trade at 10 and then texted that they would be going out for a date night. I'm fine with it as long as I don't end up with a new sibling"

Gina laughed before grabbing her bottle of coke that Nini had set on the coffee table.

"Nins I don't think that's how it works..."

Nini smiled after the nickname but furrowed her eyebrows. It suddenly dawned on her that her moms were both women. She had gotten so used to her parents she didn't even consider that, that wasn't possible between them.

"Whatever you know what I meant."

The two laughed and there was a comfortable silence between them before Nini spoke up.

"So where exactly did you come from?"

Gina thought back to what she had been doing. Before coming over she had made sure to throw out the Juul. She respected Momma D and C too much to bring something like that into their house.

"A hot spring. It's my favorite place here. I'll take you sometime"

Just like that Nini noticed that Gina had already broken some walls down. She was letting Nini in so easily.

The night wasn't awkward. In fact it was really good, and both girls ignored the fact that they hadn't really talked or spend time together in a month.

When they were in their seventh episode of Friends the two decided it was time to head upstairs. Nini wasn't sure if Gina was going to take the guest room but her doubts quickly went away when Gina raced her to her room.
