_-??~?*?~??-_?
Izuku Midoriya was happy with his life for the most part. He had a great mom and mostly great friends. (Ahem-- Bakugou) There were always little things that set him off, but he was okay.
One thing about his life that was different wa...
I sit up and get ready for the day, the routine never changing as each day passes. I tug on my uniform and head out of my dorm as usual. Everybody is already eating whatever they call their, "breakfast," while Eijiro spots me immediately and rushes to my by side, almost like a dog would when they see their owners. The thought brings an unusual blush to my face.
"Hey, Katsuki!" Eijiro walks up to me with a stupid grin that makes me want to smile. But, I don't. I just don't want to.
"Hey," I grumble in response.
"Have you seen Midori-bro?" Eijiro asks with a slight tilt of the head, the movement proving that he acts like a literal dog. I only sigh at his nickname for the nerd. Speaking of the nerd, I texted him last night. He never responded, though. That stupid Deku probably got sick or something happened that made him cry again. I wouldn't care, normally. However, when I saw his expression it was different than when he straight-up ugly cried like a wimp. It's like he had no shame.
His expression looked more shocked; At a loss of words. His eyes look dull and empty; Like he wasn't fully there. Before I saw him, he looked like he was panicking and was pulling at his hair. He looked like a mess, honestly. Not that he doesn't usually look like a mess, though. The idiot doesn't even know how to tie a tie. I'll tell Aizawa today. Not like I care, but if that nerd died I wouldn't have anybody to pass as number 1 hero.
I feel a poke on my face and I grab the hand instinctively.
"Ehh?!" I yell as Ei laughs with a light redness to his cheeks.
"You spaced out, Suki. You okay?" Ei smiles and lays his head on my shoulder.
"Tch." I look away from his face.
"Don't use that fuckin' nickname, Ei. And, no. He might be sick or somethin'." I speak without yelling. Ei's stupid face makes it hard to yell.
"Oh.." He looks thoughtful for a second before piping up, his gestures way too exaggerated and dramatic.
"Hey! Why don't you go check on him or something? Wake him up, y'know? I mean, maybe it isn't the best idea and I could do it if you can't but--" I interrupt Ei and shove my hand in his face.
"Sure, whatever. I'll go check on the stupid nerd." I shove him away and he looks shocked. I raise an eyebrow and shove my hands in my pockets.
"Okay!" He gives me a thumbs up and I give him a small smile that nobody else is allowed to see before walking down the hallway to find the nerd.
[Time skip to him at Midoriya's Dorm because I ain't wanna write it.]
I pound on the door harshly.
"Open up, nerd!" I regret deciding to actually listen to Ei. This is stupid. I only wanted to wake up the nerd and to make sure he wasn't dead-- Plus, Ei had asked me to.
