"(Y/n)." Someone whispered, scaring me out of my wits.

I turned my head back, only to be met with warm brown eyes. Oscar smiled at me, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.

"Where did you go?" I asked softly, not wanting to show how much I missed him.

"Don't worry about it." He shook his head, helping me out of the chair. "C'mon, lets dance together."

He led me out to the crowd, a new song starting. It was one of Oscars favorites, he always plays it whenever I'm in the car. I couldn't help the giggle that passed my lips as he began dancing.

"Oscar! What are you doing?"

"What? Am I really that bad?" He asked, moving his hips in odd directions. I widened my eyes, stifling a loud laugh.

"Yes. Your terrible!" I replied over the loud music.

"Fine then." He huffed. "Teach me."

I rolled my eyes, knowing that he was better than what he decided to show. I've seen him dance. And it had to be the most hottest thing I had ever seen. Of course, I would never tell him, but still, I knew he could dance.

As the music continued playing, and I moved my hips along to the beat, I could feel Oscars eyes on me. I figured he would start dancing too, but no, he was just staring.

"Oscar!" I groaned.

"W-What?" He stuttered. It seemed as if he was knocked out of a trance, making me blush from the thought of him feeling something towards me.

"Are you going to dance or not?" I laughed softly.

He paused for a moment. His eyes looked around the crowded party, then landed back to me. He smirked and took me by the hand, leading me out of the yard.

"I want to dance with just you. Alone."

This moment was perfect.

The stars twinkled in the dark sky. The full moon shone brightly across all of L.A. But nothing could compare to Oscar.

He was standing so close to me as I gazed at the night sky. I could tell there was a smile on his face, but I ignored it. I couldn't let my feelings get in the way.

"Aren't the stars beautiful?" I whispered.

"Your much more beautiful. I'd rather look at you than the stars any day." Oscar spoke.

I froze. Turning my head to face him, I stared at him with wide eyes. There's no way he just said that.

"I need to tell you something." He said as he pulled me close to him.

Oscar wrapped one arm around my waist, and the other held my hand out. We both swayed slowly to the sound of the cool night air, and the music that was off in the distance.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

Oscar sighed as he peered at me. Adoration was visible in his eyes, making butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"You know you mean the world to me right? Like... I would choose you over everything."

I nodded my head softly. Diego's face flashed in my mind for a second, then disappeared. Oscar really needs to get his priorities straight.

"And what about your brother?"

"Him too. But I don't feel the same way about him the way I do for you." Oscar paused momentarily. I could tell that he was trying to gather the right words to say. "I love you. More than what a friend should feel."

I stayed quiet. Letting his words sink in.

I had dreamed of this moment for years. But I never thought that it would actually happen. Standing here, in his arms, felt so right. But I was scared that it would all disappear.

"I love you too Oscar." I smiled, pushing away the weary thoughts.

Oscar grinned, leaning his head down to me. Once he finally closed the gap between us, the word stopped and it felt like absolute heaven. His lips moved gently against mine, his arms holding me close.

It was amazing.
