"God dammit...Focus in decoding (Y/N)!" Mercenary yelled, running after being saved by you before he flew up in the sky.
"But! This is your la-" You tried to argue but Naib cut you off.
"It doesn't matter! We are on 4 machines, you gotta reveal the dungeon! I'll try to contain him as long as possible!"
You only looked at the direction the mercenary ran off to and after him... Xie Bi'an or more likely The White Guard.
Let's take us back to the beginning of the match shall we?

It was Wensday and you had an afternoon match with Demi, Naib and Victor. As usual you didn't know who the hunter is, unless they decided to visit you while waiting for the match to begin..
"Hey guys, who do you think the hunter will be this round?" Demi asked, with slight excitement in her tone.
"I hope it ain't the Jackass. I truly hate him.." Naib responded with annoyance in his tone just thinking about him. Victor sadly couldn't respond to his mouth being stitched so he responded in sign language.
'I think it will Jack actually.'
Naib only glared at Victor making the shy boy sweat.
"Well I think it's gonna be Wu Chang. I've been getting him the most ever since he got his buff." You responded playing with the mini Xie Bi'an that you've recently got from Emily. You personally adored how he acted in matches, whenever you were mad that the hunter wouldn't leave you alone and seeing the small Xie Bi'an frightened of hoe your sitting in the rocket chair made your heart melt.
"Pfft... You make it sound like you're tired of always getting him." Mercenary laughed, as he gave you a mischievous grin.
"I-I mean, I'm not tired of always getting him! It's kinda like learning how to kite him longer!" You protested, as your cheeks warmed up.
"So you actually want to have a match against him?" Naib responded, giving you an evil seductive look.
"I never said that!" The female-puppeteer argued back, now blushing.
"Are you sure?~"

"Yes!"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"Very very sure?"

"Yes!"

"So you like Xie Bi'an?"

"Yes!"

The mercenary held his laughter while you stared blankly at your team, processing what you just said.
"Oh my god..." Demi whispered to her self, trying to cover up her giggling.
When you realize what you had just said, your face flushed bright red.
"W-W-WAIT A MINUTE- THAT'S NOT WHAT-"
A crack of glass was heard in the waiting room, announcing that the match is beginning. But little did (Y/N) know, that Xie Bi'an listened to that how conversations and couldn't help, but giggle at your flustered face.
And immediately after the match began, you had to go across the whole map just to find a machine that isn't occupied by a survivor, but after you started decoding it, Victor was hit exposing the hunter's location to you. A slight fade of red appeared on your cheeks realizing that he had listened to your whole flustered conversation with the mercenary.
"You've got to be freaking kidding me... " (Y/N) mumbled to herself. And not soon after, Victor was downed with Demi getting a terror shock while vaulting a window. The female-puppeteer quickly made a puppet sending it off to rescue, but was destroyed by the hunter quickly although enough time to help the mercenary save postman from flying although he didn't succeed in saving the barmaid.
And the same thing repeated, Victor got downed put on a chair and Naib saving him again, but this time taking a hit. (Y/N) send her last puppet to help heal the mercenary, but didn't manage in time as Victor was downed again. And from there the game went downhill.
