The heavy footsteps hitting down the ground under you, a hit away with an owl on your back, you ran to the Exit Gate. Eli was waiting for you at the gate prepared to body block in case his owl let's go, but to his surprise Mary hit Popo. Making the Seer tremble a bit, but giving enough time for you to escape. And like that the game managed to end in a draw.

"Careful! Don't shift too much." Emily ordered as she bandaged your wounded arm. You were in the clinic after a heavy rank match against Mary. You were glad you managed to kite her for long enough so that Eli could pop the last two ciphers. It was a clutch escape really, but you were satisfied by your kiting. It doesn't happen very often for you to kite hunters like that.. As you were lost in your thoughts a gentle voice returned you back to reality.
"Must say, pure luck there hm?" The Doctor said, finishing your arm. You took a glance at your arm before answering, examining the bandages that were starting to slightly become red.
"Yeah, thank goodness I managed to kite her a bit longer.." You answered as you stood up from the hospital bed a bit stumbling on your step.
"I haven't finished healing you yet." Emily exclaimed turning around, facing you with a syringe in her hand. As soon as you saw the needle of the syringe, you immediately jumped on the bed, hissing at the doctor.
"No way! I've had enough healing, I can go without... THAT too!" You hissed at the doctor once more. Emily wasn't gonna have it today since she already had to deal with William acting the same way as you earlier today.
"Listen here (Y/N). If you don't get down right now I promise you that you'll have to be in charge of cleaning the rooms. Alone."
As soon as you heard that you immediately sat back down on the bed, your head lowered in defeat with your arm extended towards Emily. You didn't really wanna clean every survivors room, especially alone. After the last time you had such punishment from Emily, most of the survivors were disappointed in your cleaning skills.
As the cold needle of the syringe made an impact with your skin you let a small whimper escape your mouth. Emily took notice of your reaction and lightly squeezed around the area the syringe was. The pain eased a bit, but after Emily pulled the syringe it jumped back making you groan.
"Sorry, I tried to be gentle as possible..."
"It's alright Emily.. The pain will be gone soon anyway." You said as you got up from the bed.
"Are you done healing me?"
You questioned the doctor, which back was faced towards you.
"Yes, you can go to your room and rest now. Make sure you don't stumble upon Norton thought, he is grumpy this afternoon."
"Oh? And why is the prospector grumpy?"
"Not quite sure, but I think it's because he lost most of his rank matches."
You hummed in reply as you left the room. In the hallway right in front of you was standing Aesop. He was looking out the window, lost in his thoughts, though you decided not to bother the silvered hair man and continue walking.
"Not gonna bother asking me what's wrong Ms. (L/N)?" A deep gentle male voice spoke from behind you making you jump slightly. You turned around to face the silver eyes staring at you with a calm expression, a shadow cast over one of his eyes from the sunlight.
"Jesus, Aesop! You almost gave me a heart attack!"
"Is that so? Well I'll certainly do it more to succeed on attacking your heart."
You stared blankly at the Embalmer, wondering if he wanted to either flirt with you or actually plan to kill you. Aesop seeing your reaction to his sentence immediately waved his hands in a panicked action trying to explain his weird sentence. (Y/N) only chuckled by the hilarious action of the Embalmer and told him it was fine and he didn't need to worry. Even though it did creepy you out a bit, you knew he didn't mean no harm...right?
