“How are you feeling?” Cristiano asked as he peeked at Isabelle, it had been six months since the couple had begun dating and things had slowly improved; he was currently driving Isabelle to her first physio session.
It had been a couple of weeks since Isabelle had her cast removed and the doctor had cleared her to start getting make on her feet; she was a little nervous about learning to walk again.
“Nervous, excited,” Isabelle said brushing some hair from her face, she looked at her boyfriend knowing how hard it had been for him while she had been resting.
Cristiano nodded his head, he peeked at his girlfriend and rested a hand on her leg, and he brushed his fingers against it gently knowing it was the leg that she was weakest on.
“It’ll be okay you know? I’m here every step of the way no matter what you decide,” Cristiano said knowing that he would support her no matter what happen, it was a long road to complete recovery and he didn’t want her rushing it.
Isabelle smiled, she was glad that she had a boyfriend like him who supported her decision to get better; she didn’t want to give up without trying and she had to do this for herself.
Cristiano focused on the road, he wished that he could help her but he knew that her physio therapist would be better suited than he would; he had no idea how to help Isabelle recover from something like this.
“Gracias for being here,” Isabelle said knowing that if she had gone home with her parents then they would have dragged her down with their negative thoughts.
Isabelle wanted to try even if it did work out that she couldn’t dance again, she didn’t want to spend her life regretting that she hadn’t given it a go.
Cristiano nodded his head, there was nowhere else in the world that he would rather be; Isabelle needed him and he would be there for her.

Cristiano sighed as he sat outside of the physio room, he was giving Isabelle some space and he knew that she would call him if she needed him; he leant back in his chair hoping that this went well.
Cristiano didn’t care that her physio was a man, he just wanted Isabelle to get better and if the man could help her then so be it; he chewed on his lip thinking about how much this all meant to her.
Moving to mess with his phone, Cristiano ignored the approaching woman knowing that she was just here to cause trouble; she couldn’t accept that Isabelle had made her choose.
“You’re still forcing her to do this,” Gabriella said staring at Cristiano, she had heard from Adrianna that today was Isabelle’s first physio session; she hadn’t been able to resist coming since she knew that Cristiano would be there.
Cristiano looked at Gabriella, he didn’t know why she couldn’t just be supportive of what Isabelle wanted; he was doing what he thought was best and that was what mattered.
“I didn’t force anything on her… she wants to do this,” Cristiano said shaking his head, he didn’t know why Gabriella was trying to make him into a villain; he guessed that she blamed him for what had happened.
Irina was his ex-girlfriend and she had attacked Isabelle because of their relationship; she was now serving six years in prison and Cristiano hoped that her time wasn’t cut down.
“Isa wants to dance again and it might not be the easiest thing in the world… but I will help her in any way that I can,” Cristiano said looking at Gabriella, she needed to stop this before she lost her daughter for not being there for her.
Isabelle was hurting because her parents refused to support her decision to fight for what she loved; she couldn’t believe that they weren’t going to help her, she was going through a rough time and would need all the help that she could get to recover.
Gabriella scoffed, she would never be able to forgive and forget what had happened to her middle daughter and she knew that there was only one person to blame; she could only stare at the facts that she had in front of her about what had happened.
“Trying to ease your guilt,” Gabriella sniped staring at the footballer, it was his fault that Irina had targeted Isabelle and had lost everything; it all could have been different if he had stayed away and left her alone.
Cristiano took a deep breath, he knew that she would bring this up and he didn’t blame her; deep down he did blame himself for what had happened but he wanted to make up for that by helping Isabelle in any way that he could.
“No Isa knows what she wants… she doesn’t need people telling her otherwise,” Cristiano said with a pointed look, he was tired of Gabriella trying to bring Isabelle down when she was working so hard to recover.
Gabriella pursed her lips, she knew deep down that Cristiano was right but she didn’t want to admit it; she was sure that it was better if Isabelle didn’t try in case she got hurt.
“I hope you know what you are doing,” Gabriella said before she turned and walked away, she wasn’t going to let anyone try to guilt her into thinking that she was wrong.
Cristiano watched her leave, he wished that Gabriella and Charles would be more supportive; Isabelle was going to need their support if she was going to make it through this.

Isabelle left her first physio session on crutches, she smiled at the sight of Cristiano waiting for her; she was tired but it had been a good session, it would be a while until she was completely recovered.
“How was it?” Cristiano asked getting to his feet, he looked at Isabelle concerned and he hoped that she hadn’t found it too hard; he didn’t want her pushing herself too hard.
Isabelle smiled staring at her boyfriend, she had no idea how she would have coped without him around to help her; she had a feeling that he would be her biggest support through all of this.
“It was good,” Isabelle said positively, she would have to slowly build up the strength back in her leg then she could focus on getting back to dancing.
Cristiano nodded pleased that she had enjoyed it, he just hoped that things wouldn’t get too much for her; they had been dating for six months and he was sure that this was the hardest thing that they had ever had to face as a couple.
“Good,” Cristiano said with a small smile, he wouldn’t tell Isabelle that her mother had turned up; he didn’t want to upset her and he hoped that they would be okay, he didn’t want to listen to what Gabriella had said.
Isabelle looked at her boyfriend, she could sense that something had happened while she was in her session and she was sure that he would tell her eventually.
“Shall we head home?” Cristiano asked looking at Isabelle, he was sure she’d want to rest after her session since he knew how draining they could be.
Isabelle nodded her head, her brown eyes watching him curious about what had put him on edge; she felt her stomach twist and she hoped that it wasn’t anything bad like Irina escaping from prison.
Cristiano smiled, he turned to leave knowing that he would do anything to make up for what had happened to her; she had suffered because he had made a decision and he would make it right.
