••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• "Why would you tell him" I questioned Rose who sat at the edge of my bed while I finished folding my washing. "I was drunk okay, I didn't mean to" Rose gave me her puppy eyes but they weren't going to work, I mean I have a five year old, puppy eyes had no effect on me know. "No Rose you always promised you'd never tell him" I threw the clothes I was folding down on the bed. "I don't understand why your making this a big deal" she sighed. "Because this is my child we're talking about Rose!" I raised my voice as I spoke crossing my arms. Rose just rolled her eyes sighing like it was nothing. "You know what just get out" I stared down at the girl, she turned to face me complete shock on her face. "What?" She questioned. "I said just get out" I looked over at my bedroom door. "Why?" She stood up. "Why? Well because for the last few years you've been nothing but a shit friend, and last night was just the last straw" Rose was completely taken back by what I said. "What? How have I been a shit friend?" She crossed her arms. "Telling Oscar, only coming to me when you need money or anything but never being there in return, like when I asked you to help out when Camila was younger as a friend, expecting me to drop my daughter to go party with you. What happened to the Rose that said she'd always be there for me, what happened to my best friend?" Rose didn't say anything she just turned and left slamming my front door as she left. I just shook my head picking the clothes back up. I was completely done with her, I tried everything but it was like she never wanted to grow up. "What was all that about?" I turned to see my mom with a concerned look on her face stood at my bedroom door. "It doesn't matter" I ran a free hand through my hair. "Didn't sound like nothing" my mom walked into the room sitting where Rose had sat. "We had a falling out" I looked up with a shrug like it didn't faze me, but it did what she did seriously hurt me, I could never trust her again. "What? The two of you have been friends since you were thirteen" my mom said out of shock. "Yeah well, it happens. I grew up she didn't" I placed the newly folded clothes down. "What? What actually happened?" I took a deep breath before replying. "She just a been acting really immature, expecting me to dump Camila to party, there's been times she's turned up here for a place to crash while she been drunk, also she told Oscar about Camila" my mom looked down shaking her head. "Did you ever ask if there was anything going on with her?" My mom looked back up. I bite the inside of my cheek, I never really did. "Don't take this the wrong way but you talk about being mature yet didn't handle this the mature way" she stood up walking over to me and pulling me into a hug. "Phone her and meet up, talk it through" my mom pulled away placing her hands on the side of my face. I took a deep breath before nodding my head, she was right, something had to be up with Rose but at the same time I had to sort the Oscar situation out. My mom remover her hands and walked over to my bedroom door. "Mom?" I called out causing her to stop and look at me. "Yeah?" "What do I do about this Oscar situation?" I asked. My mom stood thinking about the situation. "Have you talked to Camila, what does she want to do" she leant against the door frame. "Shes five, do you think she'd be okay if she met him" my mom smiled at me. "Y/n young kids are the best at reading people, if they don't like someone or think someones sketchy they'll let you know" I smiled at my moms comment. "You did at least" my mom laughed causing me to. "So I'd talk to her and if she wants to meet him let her, let her make her own mind up" "Put what if he hurts her" I looked up tears in my eyes. "Y/n..." she walked in yet again pulling me into a hug. "Just because he hurt you doesn't mean he'd hurt her" she pushed a strand of hair out my face, I just nodded. My mom left the room leaving me with all the washing.
