Welcome back to「・NOMADS・」‼︎

The Lull of Peace is over.

A golden tom climbed up the steps, each pawstep sending dust flying into miniature flurries. He sneezed and shook out his pelt to free the dust bunnies and leaves attached to him.

This place was truly abandoned. The top of the tower was empty, there was no sign of walkers or any other creature currently nesting here. The only visible light leaked through the glass ceiling, pouring down in streams of blue and yellow, delivered straight from the heavens themselves.

Bee leapt onto a table, cutting through the particles and clouds like a bird taking flight. His midnight eyes were glued to the roof, tracing the fakestars like it was his first time seeing them.

The longer he gazed, the more they twisted and rippled like the surface of a pool. He was too enraptured to look away, even as his eyes grew heavy.

He blinked once and when he opened them again, the walls of the observatory were gone.

The orange sky above him was endless for lengths and dyed purple where it was meeting the horizon. He stood on clear water which reflected hundreds of millions of stars. They flickered and twinkled at him happily, like they were greeting an old friend after a long time.

And ahead of him was a massive beast that was just shy of sharing similarities of a felidae. It's pelt was a deep hue of orange that reminded him of the neon that the walkers were so fond of and it's black stripes swayed like foamy waves meeting a shore.

The word 'Tigris' formed in his head like something he had long forgotten. Bee opened his mouth to speak, but found his voice would not come.

"There isn't time for conversation," Tigris commanded, "Bringing you here is very taxing."

"Felidae have forgotten who they are and the Ancestors are here to remind you," they continued. The beast raised to their paws, water sloshing as they moved closer to Bee. They pressed their frigid nose to his and Bee ignited with pain as moons upon moons of knowledge flooded his tiny frame.
