The plans I had in the future for me and Shelly are huge. Massive. As big as something can get. Marriage. Children. They're at the top and the most important to me.

It was the middle of November, the air was cold, the grass was frosty and the orange, yellow, brown and red leaves scattered the floor. I had a day off today and so did Shelly, we decided to have a day together, no one else just the two of us together.

Shelly has been my girlfriend for two years now, we met at a service station whilst I was on tour and she was visiting family. Things happened, we got in touch with each other and now two years down the line she is my beautiful girlfriend.

We got wrapped up and left our house for a walk. We walked for ages until we came across a small, desolate, abandoned park that I'd never seen before. There was two swings, a slide and a rocking horse.

We sat side by side on the swings, swinging at exactly the same time as each other. She looked gorgeous. We talked and talked and talked as we swung on the swings.

Time to make my move...

I started humming along to a tune of a song until Shelly stopped talking and listened.

It didn't take her long to hear me and she listened.

I sang as I got down on one knee and pulled a black box out of my pocket containing a diamond ring.

"Will you marry me?" I asked.

She didn't say a word. Her nodding head and tearful eyes said it all.

The second our lips touched after I placed the ring on her finger; the weightless, bright snow drifted down through the air and landed on her nose.

The snow fell for the rest of the day making it magical and memorable.
