"Justice!" I was in my bed trying to sleep because for the last week I've been so uncomfortable and I don't know why.
"Yes ma!" I screamed laying on my side facing away from the door. Toni walked in and leaned against the doorframe.
"Your mother comes back today I think she's finished filming." I sat up and looked at her with my eyes squinted. "You came in here to tell me that?"
"I'm sorry was I interpreting something?"
"Other than my sleep, no you weren't." She looked over at the clock on my dresser and back at me. "Justice it's five o'clock in the afternoon you should be up by now."
"Ma I haven't slept in a week okay? I'm tired, horny, in pain, nauseous, emotional, and pregnant. And you wanna come in here and interrupt my nap time and talk about something I already know?" I asked crying.
"Oh baby I'm sorry I didn't know." She said walking to sit next to me. "You want some tea?"
"No I want some sleep can you just please leave me alone until mom gets here." I asked laying back down. "Yeah and I love that dress it's cute!"
"Thanks now goodnight." I laid back down and as soon as she closed the door my phone rang. "Fuck!"
I reached over and answered the phone without checking to see who it was.
"What?!"
"Oh I'm sorry am I calling at the wrong time?" The voice made me sit up immediately.
"Oh no, no I'm sorry hey baby." I got up and went into the bathroom and talked so Toni couldn't hear me if she walked past the door.
"Baby? I like the sound of that." They way she said it instantly told me she was smiling.
"What are you smiling for pretty?" I asked leaning against the sink with my hand on my back.
"How do you know I'm smiling."
"I just know you."
"We just met two months ago you don't know me." She made me roll my eyes and suck my teeth. "Please I know you more then you know yourself as much time as we spend together."
"You're right, but what are you doing?" She asked in a low sexual voice. "Nothing just trying to sleep. Are you home?"
"No I'm on my way to Lauren's house, she said she had something for me there so I'm going to go check it out. When are you going stop going into the bathroom to speak to me?"
"W-what? Ain't nobody in the bathroom."
"You still ain't tell ya parents about me?" I scrunched my eyebrows and looked at the phone as if she could see me. "And get killed? Hell naw I'm good, they almost killed me when they found out about Travis being older."
"I'm not a teenager I can't be sneaking around with you."
"But you can sneak around with Lauren?"
"That's different-" I didn't wanna hear the excuses so I hung up and left my phone in the bathroom so I could finally get some sleep.
Janet I was home for only a week because Tyler knew Justice is due anytime this week, I have to attend a meeting for a upcoming show, and I have to attend the Grammy's.
I walked into the house and it was completely dark. I was expecting everyone to be downstairs to great me being that I haven't seen anyone in person since the first day of January.
I brought my bags upstairs to the room and Toni and the twins were all sleep in the bed. Kori was laying on Toni's chest while Kam was on her legs.
I tip toed out of the room and went to Justice's room and was knocked out as well. I had spoken to her yesterday and she said she hadn't been to sleep in a week, so I didn't dare walk in the room.
I went down to the guest room and got undressed so I could take a nap because I was exhausted from rehearsals and shooting a movie. Two hours later I was woken up from the smell of Popeyes. I got up and went downstairs to see Toni, Justice, Kori, and Kam eating without me.
"Ok so I've been gone for over a month and I finally get back home and y'all sleep and then y'all don't wake me for dinner." I said walking into the kitchen.
"Baby!" Toni said jumping up running over to me but I put my hand up to block her. "Uh uh I've been home for two hours now."
"Baby don't be like that I didn't know you were home."
"You didn't see my bags in the room?" I asked walking over to the twins. "No I was just worried about getting food and hurrying back home for your arrival."
"Yeah, yeah. Hey my babies! I missed you so much." I said kissing their heads. "Justice! I missed you so much." I said walking over to her.
"I missed you too momma and for the record we knew you were home she lying." She said hugging me.
"Anyway, baby how's the movie going so far?" Toni asked me as I sat down. "It's going everyone's really nice professional." I knew she was asking to see if I would tell her about what I had to do regarding Malik.
"So no sex scenes?" Justice dropped the piece of chicken she had and covered her ears. "Now Toni you know I don't do that, I would never do that."
"He must've said no to being tested then huh?"
"Toni I just got home." I sang looking at her. "I know you did that's why I'm asking so whenever this movie comes out I won't be surprised."
"The most we do is kissing that's it, I mean we're playing a married couple what do you expect?"
"Mm okay we'll see." I rolled my eyes and began eating. After what seemed like years the doorbell went off making Justice jump up.
"I'll get it."
Justice I couldn't stand sitting at that table, it was too much tension going on between the two of them. So as soon as that door rang I was gone. When I got to the door I didn't bother looking out the window I just opened the door.
When I did the person standing there damn near made me faint.
"Anika... what are you doing here?" I asked stepping outside closing the door behind me.
"You hung up on me hours ago and I came to check on you to make sure you were good."
"I'm amazing now go." I said pushing her towards her car. "No I came all the way here to see you Justice."
"Yeah well my parents are home and if they see you-"
"I know at least let me stay till morning I miss you." I looked at her as if she was crazy.
"How?!-"
"Just whose at the door?" I heard Toni say making me sigh in frustration. "Nobody ma. Look I'll call you tonight okay just please leave."
"Fine but if you don't call me I'll come back and you know I will." I nodded my head as she walked back her car and pulled off.
"Why you still outside?" I jumped at the sound of Janet's voice. "I'm just getting some fresh air."
"Get in the house its February and you're wearing a damn summer dress." She said pulling me in the house. "Akeke I'm going to bed I'll see y'all in the morning."
After my shower I called Anika but she didn't answer the phone which was weird but I just let it slide. I turned my phone off and went to bed because I had to be up early to meet Lauren.
