"What the fuck do you mean Lucas Graham just asked you to be his girlfriend?"

Taylor waved her hands at him, nearly knocking over her coffee. She glanced around the shop to make sure no one was looking in their direction and lowered her voice. "Yeah, like a week ago."

Nasir gave her an incredulous look but obliged and lowered his voice as well. "And you didn't know it was him."

Taylor shook her head, tucking her hair behind her ears. "I don't know the names of the captains of the other teams, and I knew he was from Fort Qui, but he told he wasn't a Serpent."

Nasir's expression was dubious, and Taylor crossed her arms, leaning back in the seat. "He never told me! Do you think if I knew who he was that I would have said yes?"

"I can't believe that you are dating him," Nasir scoffed. "This is treason."

"Treason!" Taylor blinked at him in shock. "What kind of bullshit is that?"

Nasir glared at her, but there was no actual anger backing it up. He was trying to appear mad, but he was really just annoyed. Taylor raised her eyebrows and glared right back, keeping her arms crossed over her winter jacket.

"Wait," Nasir paused, thinking something through. Taylor could practically see his thoughts racing. "Did you tell him anything about that movement? With the fake pass?"

Taylor shook her head rapidly. "No, of course not. I wouldn't do th-" She paused as she thought back to their Tims date just before Halloween. "Oh shit," She felt her mouth open in surprise. "I totally did. I told him that you guys were practicing a feinting move."

Nasir let out a disdainful laugh. "Well, at least now we know who slipped up."

Taylor could feel her ears heating up in embarrassment. "I didn't mean too. I had no idea who he was."

Nasir took in a deep breath, and pushed up his glasses, presumably thinking something through. "Okay, I'm not going to tell anyone, because goodness knows you'd be dead as soon as you walked on that bus if someone found out that it was you who told the Serpents," He tugged on the string of the teabag again, before sticking his tongue out slightly. "I have an idea, but you might not like it."

Taylor took a drink of her coffee before responding, letting it sit in her mouth for a moment. "What is it, first of all?"

"Why don't you try giving him some fake information?" Nasir suggested. "It might lead him in the wrong direction and give us a chance to get ahead of them."

Taylor ran her tongue along her teeth, contemplating what he had suggested. There was a mischievous gleam in his eyes. There couldn't be much harm in telling him false information. More so if it helped the Falcons win a game. She furrowed her eyebrows. But what is Lucas found out?

Nasir waited expectantly, watching her through the tortoiseshell frames of his glasses. His head was tilted slightly, and he had rested his hands on his lap, waiting for her answer.

Taylor inhaled once. "Okay, I'll do it," Nasir's face lit up. "But, I don't want to do it too much. We can try it once, and if it works, then I'll maybe consider doing it again."

Nasir nodded quickly. "Great, then we need to come up with something to tell him," He was smiling slightly, and Taylor ducked her gaze to avoid watching him. "Something that will lead him astray."

Taylor nodded, her vague sense of guilt vanishing at the expression on Nasir's face. "What is something that seems like you guys would do, but can actually do the opposite?"

Nasir hummed. "We had a move last season that went insanely well. The one where Jacob and Isaac went up the sides to distract from Jamie in the middle?"
