[ Chapter 4 ]

I push my hair back and grab my bottle of pills on the table, I grab it and take out one tablet, picking up the upside down glass cup. I turn in the faucet and fill the glass with water.

I put the tablet in my mouth and swallow it by drinking the water. I put the cup down and cough a little, I clear my throat and put the cup upside down.

I put the capsule next to the sink and look up. Seeing my reflection, noticing my scar on my temple where the bullet graze against.

" Y/n " I hear Katelyn calls.

I let out a sigh of exasperation.

~ Time Skip ~

It's in the middle of the night and I can't sleep.

I push my blanket off and stood up from the bed, I stretch my arm and walk up to the door, I open and see the gate is locked. I sighed.

I need to drink something, my throat is dry. I look around and walk up to my dresser, I see my bobby pin place next to my laptop. I pick it up and bend it in a certain way then approach the door. I stick the pin in the lock and got it unlock in one try.

I push the door open and leave the pin in the doorknob, I walk down the stairs and enter the kitchen to see Adam. He leaves the spoon of ice cream in his mouth as reaching for his gun ok his waist.

" Don't bother " I open the fridge door and look inside to see a gallon of milk.

That could help me sleep.

I grab it and turn closing the fridge door to see Adam taking out the spoon out of his mouth, holding the ice cream container.

" Nice shirt " I grab a cup as I look at his red plain shirt.

" How did you get out? " He asked as I place the cup on the table.

" Lock picking " I pour the milk in the cup.

" We took out every sharp thing out of the room " he said.

" You forgot my pin " I said and take a sip of the milk.

I wipe my lips and he just keeps his eyes on me.

" Are you going to eat that? " I look at the ice cream.

He ignores and I just shrug grabbing it from his hand and the spoon. I start to eat it and sit down on the stool.

" So, what's you favorite food? " I look up at him as I eat the ice cream.

He ignores.

" Okay, don't talk much, duly noted " I said and stuck the spoon in the ice cream passing it to him.

I finish my milk and place it in the sink wiping my lips clean. I turn around and see him still staring at me.

" Oh, come on, I know you hate my best friend for killing your girlfriend but it was an accident, I was supposed to shut her up cause she wouldn't stop screaming, plus she run to the door and Ein was shooting another guy behind it but missed and hit her " I said.

" You don't deserve to see your daughter " he said, I snicker.

" We'll see about that " I said with a serious expression.

His hand slowly goes to his gun.

" Adam, Y/n escaped " I look at the door and see Talia.

She stop at the door and take out her gun.

" Stand down " Adam said.

" You let her out? " Talia asked still holding the gun with both of her hand.

" Actually, I let myself out " I said and walk up to her.

She backs up and hold up her gun to me, I walk pass her and head to the stairs when Catherine walk out of the room, she immediately takes out her gun as soon as she sees me.

" Yeah, yeah, go ahead shoot me " I yawn as I walk pass her to the stairs.

I scratch my head as I walk pass Ash casually and he looks at me awkwardly.

I see Nadia stand by the gate.

" Damn it " she kicks the gate.

" Easy " I said, she turns to me and take out her gun as she backs up.

" I wish I had a gun " I said and enter my room.

I enter the bathroom and brush my teeth as I hear the gate being locked again. When I was done I leave my bathroom and see Catherine, Talia and Nadia standing there.

I switch off the light and lie down.

" Keep an eye on her " Talia said.

" We need more reinforcements " Nadia said.

" I'll call Alan and have someone to clean the room once more so it won't happen again " Catherine said.

" It'll be nice of you guys to talk somewhere else " I said.

The three of them look at me through the dark.

" I'll keep watch " Nadia said.

" No, me, I just had coffee, you two just rest " Talia said, Cathrine nodded and walk away.

" Are you sure you don't need an assistant? " Nadia asked.

" I'll be fine "

Sooooooo sleepy.
