I swallow my pill with my water and put the capsule in my drawer and the bottle on the table. Typing in my laptop rapidly, I push my hair back as I focus on what I write down.

" Meow " I look down on the floor to see the ginger cat looking up at me with his tail moving side to side.

" I already fed you " I said.

" Meow "

" No, I'm not going to feed you again until Nyla comes back to pick you up " I said.

" Meow "

" Where did she even find you? " I asked.

" Meow "

" Ughh, fine " I stood up and he follows me outside my room.

I enter my kitchen and open the cabinet, I grab the box of cat food.

" Meow "

" I heard you the first four times you meowed, Milo  " I said.

I turn around and grab the bowl on the floor, I pour it as he rub his body against me. I put it down and he started eating.

I walk back to the room when he follows.

" No, no, no, you go eat, I do my work " I carry him and put him back down near his food.

He ignores and goes around my leg, I sighed.

" I might just throw you out the window " I look down at him.

" Meow "

" Fine " I carry him in my arms and enter my room, I sit down on my comfy chair and he I let him lie on my lap.

I stroke his fur as I continue to type in my laptop with one hand.

" Meow " I groan and pick him up.

I turn him as he face me, I put up my leg and lie his back on my lap, I hold his paw.

" You are disrupting me from publishing this new chapter " I said.

He purrs and I let go.

" Meow– " I grab back his paw and whine.

I grab my phone and dial Nyla's number, I start calling until she answers.

" N/n, I told you I'm busy " she said as I hear shuffling.

" What are you doing? " I asked.

" I'm at work, what now? " She asked.

" Where's your husband?, Can't he take care of Milo? " I asked.

" He's at work as well " she said.

" Then who takes care of the cat while you two are gone? " I asked.

" Evan, and he is smooching up on a date with his boyfriend so be a good big sister and just give him attention, please, please, please, please? "

" I love you bye " she ends the call, I exhale in disbelief.

I put the phone down and look down at Milo.

" I hate you " I said, he purrs.

I carry him and put him over my shoulder, he purrs and I continue to type in my laptop.

I cry out a whine as I lean my head back, I take him off my shoulder and put him in front of me.
