❝ 晴天の霹靂 ❞
WITH CAUTIOUS STEPS, Yue tip-toes further away from the Taiyo. He obviously notices her so-called sneak-away, but stays quiet; simply blinking knowingly.
"I've summoned a demon..."
The white-haired girl swiftly takes hold of the doorknob, but before she could turn it, the tall male speaks up. "Aren't you curious about everything that has happened to you? Your feelings, thoughts, memories, split personalities?"
"S-Split pers—hey!" exclaims Yue, offended. "That's so mean..."
"Let's just go now," Taiyo mutters, walking toward the window.
Shaking her head, Yue asks, "Why should I follow you? What if you're a kidnapper..."
"If I were a kidnapper, would you be able to see me, Blindy?" As she stays silent at that question, he continues, "You're not here physically. If you were to use your brain once in a while, you would be able to see your body sleeping right there." He motions to her bed.
Indeed, Yue's physical form is deep in slumber in the bed. Her eyebrows furrow, and as she looks at her figure, she notices that she's glowing in a bright teal color.
"Your soul has been detached from your body for some time," declares Taiyo, noticing her confusion. "Now, would you like to come?"
Debates run through her head, but as the pros outweigh the cons, she shrugs. "Well, can't turn down a night with a handsome stranger now, can I."
"Ew, stop. I am not trying to catch a case, especially not with someone like you," the black-haired male mutters, face cringing. He sighs, shaking his head to compose himself.
Then, Taiyo opens her window, beckoning Yue over. "Come on. Hinote's dying to meet you."
"Who's Hino—"
Wind is knocked out of her lungs—gasping—as Yue stares at the majestic serpentine dragon that is flying on the other side of her window. She blinks, comprehending everything. "When you said Hinote, I thought more of a—"
"Human being?" finishes Taiyo, grinning. "Nah, I don't really get along with human beings. I prefer animals."
As he notices Shirohono's awestruck and eager state, a small smile starts forming on his lips. "Well, Yue, meet one of your dragons: Hinote." He points at the crimson and black-colored dragon, and then back at her. "Hinote, please be a gentleman and greet your keeper."
Hinote bends his head down slightly, breathing calmly as he keeps on floating around in the air.
"M-My dragon?!" repeats Yue in absolute shock. "One of m-my dragons?"
Unfazed, he nods. But a sour expression soon takes over his face. "Well, Hinote was actually my dragon, but I had to give it to you or whatever."
