Diary Of A Single Father

I woke up feeling dizzy and a headache.

Something felt unfamiliar.
My sourranding was strange.
I looked around,a bedroom painted in purple and white.

A big blue eyes met my gaze.
"Are you okay?"the owner of the blue eyes.a fair girl of about seven years old with long blonde hair and rosy red lips asked.

"No..I have headache..what's your name?"I asked
"Ellis..after my dead mom..I live here with my daddy"she informed me.
Her voice was chirpy which heightened my headache more.

"Your dad..where is he?"I asked.
"Out..for a run"she answered.

"Goodmorning"a deep voice vibrated.
"Morning..do..do I know you?"I looked at him.

He looked somehow familiar.
The built body,the board shoulders.
I thought hard which made Me cringe with headache.

"Oh.I'm sorry..have an aspirin.I made you soup ..hangover soup..it's still hot"he tasted the soup before handing It over to me.

I gulped it and looked at the father and daughter staring at me with identical big blue eyes.

"Do you like it?"Ellis asked
"Yeah..but I gotta go now.thanks for your hospitality"I stood up.

I regretted it immediately,I was only in briefs.the waist loose.

I crept back under the blankets.
"Sorry about that but you messed your clothes up..that's my spare briefs.I bought you clothes too"he handed me the bag.

"Thank you..thank you very much..um.can I have my wallet and phone"I said.

"We didn't find any on you"Ellis said.

Yeah I left them in the car.

I looked at them.they kept staring at my every move like I was some new creature.

"Can I dress up now?"I asked.

"Lets go babe"he led the little girl away.I saw a picture of him and his little girl.

I ran into the bathroom .After bathing and dressing up,I felt refreshed and smooth.

Then it dawned to me,everything stupid thing I did last night came to me.
I started pacing.

Yeah I can do this.
I walked downstairs,he was eating breakfast with his daughter.

"Um..thanks for last night.I really need to go or my family would be annoyed.but..I don't have any money on me.I can't walk"I explained.

"We'll drop you off"Ellis stood up.
We entered the corolla.I smiled inwardly.

"You have a nice car.I love it"I said.
"Thanks...your adress please?"he asked.

They dropped me off.yeah that face from Adam's school.the man who helped me.

I turned around but they've driven off.
"DAD"Ann ran out from the house.hugging me.

"Where have you been to all night?"cece stood by the door.
"Having fun..like You proposed and dear..I really did"i smiled.
"Welcome home heart"Adam hugged me.

"Okay people don't be worried about me..I'm fine..I'm Okay and good"I said going upstairs.

And throughout the weekend I partied with cece like crazy.All night long and this we managed to always come back home.

The time cece had to go home was the toughest time,we stayed at the airport hugging each other.

"I don't want you to go"I whined.
"Me too..I don't want you to keep mopping around your house.you need to get out and socialize "she said.

"Come here every weekend..I'll pay for your flight..hell I can file for a divorce all over again and add it to my settlement contract.his private jet"I said.

"Yeah..why didn't you?you should have collected everything from him or threaten to file a case against his company..he'll do whatever you wish"she laughed.

"I love you"I said.

"I love you more..my best friend"she kissed my lips.

I cringed in disgust but laughed any ways.
