" It's the only way to make sure they won't be a problem in the future " Catherine said.

" No, we've made a deal and that's final " Zenix said.

" They're criminals and one for them is a murderer, if we set them free, how are we supposed to know they won't commit any crimes? "

" You don't know that "

" And if I'm right? "

" You don't know that yet "

" So your saying your right? "

" No, I'm just saying you can't judge them like that, putting them back in prison won't do anything, we'll just loose their trust, well regret that "

My hands clench into a fist.

" Clark doesn't even give us permission for Penelope to see Y/n, so what's the point of holding the deal if we can't get a hold of her daughter? " she asked.

I look in between the gap as tears form in my eyes.

" We'll convince him " he said.

Catherine cross her arms shaking her head and look away.

" Don't give me that " he said and place his hand under her chin and turn her face to his.

They look at each other and Catherine sighs.

" We'll find a way " he peck her lips.

She smiles and kiss him, they kiss for a few seconds and walk away. I open the door and lean against the frame, tears stream down and I bit my bottom lip to my weep.

I see them holding hands and walk down the corridor disappearing by turn a corner to the stairs. My hands clenched into fists.

I let out a breath.

" Guess I won't be seeing you Penelope, or will I ever even get a glance at you " I let out another breath and shut the door.

I lean against the door and slide down covering my mouth.

~ Time Skip ~

I look at the door to see two guys holding M16 rifles, it's on auto.

" Y/n "

If I had that I'd shoot myself.

" Y/n! " I flinched and look up at Ein who called me.

" What? " I asked.

" You keep staring at the hot dudes " he said.

" Oh, sorry where were we? " I asked looking at our laptops

" We weren't on anything, we just caught you staring " Gavin said.

I sighed.

" I'm gonna get something to drink " I place the laptop on the table and stood up, I head to the kitchen and grab a cup.

I take out a jug from the fridge and pour myself some water.

I put down the jug and felt a throbbing pain in my head, I place my hand in the edge of the table and my forehead, enduring the pain.

" Need some aspirin? " I look up and see Jackson.

" I'm fine " I pick up my cup and take a sip of it.

I put the cup down and take a deep breath.

" You didn't sleep well in the past week " he said.

" How'd you figure? " I asked.

" Your aggressive typing, pushing and pulling of your chair, your overly loud sigh " he walks up to me.

I look away.

" Whatever, you caught me, one point for you " I said in sarcasm and pick up the jug, putting it back in the fridge.

I turn around and he stood there leaning against the counter.

" What do you want? " I asked.

He cross his arms.

" Why did you offer me the deal? " He asked.

" For more help so we can get this over with " I lean against the counter behind me.

" It took me years to get in contact with Trevor, how can you possibly think we'll find him again? " He asked.

" I'll do whatever I can to find him " I said.

" What if you can't- "

" I will not stop until I find him so I can see my daughter " I said, he sighs.

" The last time I met him he was here, it was years ago, who knows where he is, probably out of Seattle " he said.

" And what makes you think that? " I asked.

" Like I said, he's always on the move, messing with our laptops, we can't even track him down " he said.

" We're probably missing something " I said.

" And that is? "

" Wouldn't you like to know? " I stood straight and grab my cup of water next to him.

I take a sip when I taste something salty, I spit it out which splash all over his face. I place my hand on my mouth.

He opens his eyes and look at me.

" Woops " he smirks.

I hit his shoulder and he laughs walking away drying his face.

I sighed and put the cup in he sink rinsing my mouth.
