I listened to Susie's light breathing as her head rested on my shoulder. We watched as snowflakes fell from above fluttering about.

"Whatcha thinkin' about?" She whispered. I hummed and placed my head above her own.

"Nothing in particular..." I mumbled as I adjusted the blanket wrapped around our shoulders. "But I was thinking that maybe we can get some hot chocolate."

She giggled and looked up at me with big eyes. "Don't you only drink that stuff on Christmas?"

"What? I drink it when it's cold and when I feel like it. Right now it's cold and I feel like it, so let's go." The blanket slipped onto the ground as I stood up. I helped Susie up and we went inside.

"Oooh~ we can put little marshmallows on top." Susie called for my attention and shook the bag in my face. I chuckled and started to heat up milk on the stove.

"Maybe I can put little marshmallows on you." I half joked. She burst into a fit of laughter and smacked my arm playfully.

"Oh stop it." Her giggles brought a smile to my face and a comfortable warmth. I turned my attention back to the stove. I could feel her eyes watching every move I made.

"You can never have too much chocolate..." I mumbled as I poured the chocolate mix into the pot. She grabbed my wrist stopping me from pouring anymore. I looked to her in bewilderment. Her face was completely serious- it was the same look she had when we first met; before we started to have feelings for each other...

Susie placed her hand on my shoulder and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Stop putting so much chocolate in." She whispered and poked my cheek.

"Well that was unnecessarially scary and creepy..."

"Maybe, but you love me anyway~" She cooed into my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Yeah. Yeah I do..." I chuckled and planted a loving kiss on the head.

Lmao sorry if this was bad. I started playing dbd again and I missed all the stupid shit that goes down. I was able to get my rank up to 7 from 20 in just a couple days.
