My head rests on the sofa, my eye glasses on, my hair untidy and my mind thinking of the right words. I was staring at the empty cup and holding my pen and paper with a few words written on it.

"Hey," mom sat beside me. "Still having difficulties writing a song? It was so unlikely of you. You can write a four-stanza poem in just five minutes."

"That's a poem mom. Songs are quite different. I want to put the right words in it to reach the hearts of the listeners. My last album was sold out after more than a year. It's slow progress."

"But it was still sold out. Good luck with that! Anything you want or anything I can help you with?"

"Let's take a walk."

"But you're not yet done with that."

"I'll continue it later. I'll contact our composer to ask for any advice or if he can give me some songs to record for the mean time."

"You can't just rely on him. You need to learn how to make yours. It will give us a greater survival in this industry."

"I know. But didn't you say we can do the real business if we fail." I laughed looking at her reaction. "You supported that idea so wait for me and let's benchmark."

"Alright! Let's just lax and wait for you to fade and we'll begin our business back home."

I was wearing my sweater when I heard that. I laughed so hard, she still wanted to be in this industry. Alright, I'll work harder while I am still here. I went out and saw her holding my cell. "What are you doing? Prying on my phone without my knowledge?" I teased her.

She handed it out to me. I looked at it and saw a message from Jungkook. He's asking for my help in his writing of a new song. I didn't reply, instead I kept it in my pocket. "Let's go?"

Mom remained seated, crossed her arms and let a sigh. "You are just friends, right?"

I nodded. It was really nothing for me. I didn't actually expected us to be friends. "Why?"

She sighed again. "I will be clear, Zy. I am not against anyone you would want to date, it's your life so I can just be an advisor. If this gets serious, I'm okay with it but if he's not really into you, stay away from him. I don't want you getting hurt."

I was stunned hearing that from hear. I felt happy that she is concerned about me and she considers me as her own daughter. "Don't worry mom, Jack see me nothing more than an older sister. Come on, let's go." I pulled her up.

"Have you heard anything from Ryosuke?"

"He didn't contact me since the last time we met. He must have forgotten about me or he's busy."

"Rumors say she broke up with him."

"Yosh! I have a chance now." Mom seemed to have a headache all of a sudden so I laughed again at her. "Kidding."

I was done writing my own lyrics when I remembered Jungkook. The kid asked for my help and I haven't responded yet. I pulled my phone from my pocket and searched for his number. I then called him. He's not picking up. I looked at the time, it's quite late, maybe he's already asleep.

Then suddenly my phone rang, it's unregistered. "Hello?" I answered but I heard no response. "Jack, is that you?" I inquired.

I heard a laughter of someone who seemed to be drunk. I'm not sure but it sounded to me that way. My brother sounded like that over the phone when he's drunk. "Are you perhaps drunk?" I asked. Does he drink this much?
